Slices of smoked trout?? Weird. I'm just about to pop to aldi and order a Serrano ham leg and holder.
My aldi doesn't sell the trout.. They also haven't got the Serrano legs.. My mate is the manager at ours so he is going to check that they are getting them.. Lidl have them for £30 though annoyingly they don't sell the holders. Which are £20. Aldi ones Coke with the holder for £10 more. Cheapest holders I can find online are £20.
Got a desire for booze tonight. I'm going to **** off to the gym at five to consider my options, it's either out for a few beers or I'll be getting a very nice bottle of wine for the evening. This is work, work shouldn't be ****ing stressful and pressured but right now it is. Not good, I feel like hitting the pub every night at the moment.
I don't have an Aldi nearby but prefer Lidl anyway. That St Etienne beer they sell in Aldi for about £2.50 a 4 pack is good.
Did that last night.. Went with a limit of 3. Had 6. Swore a lot and debated God with a God botherer and a Muslim who converted to Christianity and was getting pissed on lager. Was most peculiar.
Was very funny. Trying to convince them Jedi powers were equally as plausible as their God.. Also aliens being far more likely to be responsible for us being here. Went down a treat
What the **** is everyone having for dinner tonight?? I've no idea. Probably disappointment on toast with dust. The Mrs is hungover and I've got golf practice tonight.
My lad has a match but I'm going to the Workmans club nearby to watch the footy so dinner will be a pint and crisps.
Don't know yet. If I do go out I'll be eating in the pub so that's more than likely some cheap ****e dished up by the Wetherspoons across the river. If I stay in, something nice to accompany my Faustino No.1.
When I say 'stay in' this is in my digs where I am working so my cooking options are very limited! Had a Dominoes last night so I can't go down the consecutive days take away route.
Mrs is out tonight so I'm catering for one. By the time I get home I know already that I won't be ****ing arsed and I want to watch the match, so it'll no doubt be a ham sandwich and a nice bottle of Merlot.
The Mrs has just ordered dominoes for delivery at 8:30. Ranch bbq. Boom. My eating has been particularly unhealthy this week. Went out twice last weekend. And have now had maccies for lunch and breakfast in two days and dominoes tonight. Going to a charity lunch tomoro for the local kids hospice. Then off to brum Friday for an all dayer at the German market. Where I will stuff my face all day also. By New Year's Day I'm going to hate myself and no doubt not fit in any of my clothes.
When I mentioned going out for a pint one of the other lads said maybe we go and watch the Liverpool game. I just walked off.
