Bursaspor director of transfers Erkan Kamat yesterday said: "The policy of Rangers is not good. I don't like it. It is a ridiculously low offer. As far as we are concerned Miller has been sold to Cardiff." Excuse me, but weren't they the ones that snapped up the SPL's top goalscorer last season for a few hundred thousand pound. Or maybe they're a little angry at their bids for Whittaker getting rejected. Thought Miller could still have done a job for us but heard last night that Goodwillie's case is to be dropped today and that a Rangers bid is imminent. Lets just hope Cardiff don't hijack that one too.
When they bought Miller he had 5 months left on his contract. He has 3 years left on his contract now He has done alright too Why should they sell to Rangers on the cheap when they can get double or more (as proved by Cardiffs bid)?
Goodwillie has 2 separate cases coming up: an assault charge and a rape charge. He seems a bit of a head-case and I think he's too big a risk. If he gets into that much trouble when he's playing for Dundee Utd., what would he be like with the extra pressure of being a Rangers player?
They got the top goalscorer in Scotland for a great price, 5 months left or not. 3 years left on £50k per week player who doesn't want to be there. Ditching him would save them a hell of a lot of money. 5 goals in 15 games, alright but not great. Yes Cardiff can offer more money but would they have kept the player there against his will if it was only Rangers in for him. Would they hold on and pay him the £50k a week just because they weren't making a big enough profit on the player.
but they did get offered more, at the same time as rangers bid came in. And yeah they could hold on to him an make him honour his contract. JUst because he wanted out doesnt mean they should just let him go for less than his worth its not their fault rangers accepted £400k for him in January. If you thought he was worth more you coudl have done what Bursaspor have done and said the offer is a joke - but you didnt So how are they hypocrites?
I'm glad we're not getting Miller. He was good when he was at Ibrox, but there is no telling what he would be like if he came back. I would much prefer us to play Jelavic and Naismith up front, with Ortiz at right mid and a new left winger. I think Wylde should be back up at the moment, although if we don't get a new left winger then Wylde should start there. Having a natural left footer gives us a better balance, his pace is a big bonus.
Medro should dig out his dictionary and look up "Hypocrite". He will find a picture of himself under the definition.
Do dictionaries have pictures in them? Let's have a wee look at what your name means dev·il's advocate (dvlz) n. 1. One who argues against a cause or position, not as a committed opponent but simply for the sake of argument or to determine the validity of the cause or position. 2. Roman Catholic Church An official appointed to present arguments against a proposed canonization or beatification.
This is what DickAdvocate replied with when I questioned his penmanship.... "I look forward to future occasions when YOU will be the arbiter of the defintion of words that I have used" What a walloper!
You still struggling to comprehend the basics of grammar I see? Looks like my lessons went to waste on you. Sadly though I did suspect that would be the outcome. Please explain to the others exactly what is wrong with that sentence, I dares ya. http://www.google.com/search?q=I lo...gc.r_pw.&fp=97eede9ed711c932&biw=1280&bih=897 Medro: Dev because my nickname was "Dev" and I know a wee bit about the law, hence "Advocate". DevAdvocate. But of course I will now hear cries that is a lie, because Rangers fans have their own dictionary, and only they really know what words actually mean. ps You should also look up "Assumption" when you look for "Hypocrite"
Let someone who may actually have half a brain do the debating Nev, you are not up to it. Talking to you is like trying to teach a disabled chimp how to spell
