Martin Tyler was trying to do a P.R. job for him in his commentary the other day (Vardy)after he clattered de Gea and refused to apologise 'this is what they are like in non-league football' despite him not playing there for years, that's how unpleasant Vardy is
Another example of you wasting space on here, like I say Foxeschatter is two clicks away, try it you might like it ( and don't come back)
Don't compare admiration for his achievements with respect. I think he's done brilliantly to rise up to where he is now and his achievements shouldn't go unnoticed but I have absolutely no respect for him because he's a vile human being.
Called someone a Jap. I'd call that ignorance myself, as do plenty of others. As for his assault conviction, he was defending his disabled friend. Surprising that you can call someone a vile human being despite not having a clue.
Stop embarrassing yourself, you're defending the indefensible, if you want to overlook what a prick he is because he's scoring goals for the football team you support then fair enough, just don't expect others to do the same.
I'm not overlooking anything. I'm looking at the facts whereas you're not. Vardy was defending his disabled friend from being beaten up. That makes him quite the opposite of "vile" in my book. Vardy then called a man a "jap" for looking at his cards at a casino. He was quite clearly drunk and also quite clearly didn't realise he was being flat out racist. Plenty of people i've spoken to and read online weren't aware that the term was a racial slur. I myself knew it wasn't particularly "PC" but I didn't think people got mad over it. It's clearly ignorance on his part and he's since been on a diversity awareness course. I can't get you to like him, but I can teach you the facts so that your opinion isn't clouded by bitter hatred.
A jury convicted him of assault, if what you are saying is true then he presumably used it in his defence and yet he still got convicted. It doesn't matter what term he used or if he knew it was offensive, the fact his instinct was to reduce someone to their ethnicity when trying to confront them which tells you everything you need to know. If you use ethnicity while aggressively berating someone its quite clear the only reason to do so is to cause offence. Its admirable your defence of a man you've never met and doesn't know you exist, take comfort in the fact that if he carries on with this form he won't be playing for you for much longer and you won't have to pretend he's a decent bloke any more.
Timing is interesting aint it? If he did either of these things now it would be MASSIVE news. I know it was big before but not on the scale it would be now. That's all.
I never said that he wasn't convicted of assault. Only that his "instincts" were to defend a person who was incapable of defending himself. He clearly didn't know that he was being as offensive as he was, that's not to mean that he wasn't being offensive at all. He said "Oi, Jap, jog on". He's since taken a diversity course and has had an apology accepted by the man himself who acknowledged that he didn't think Vardy knew what the word meant. I'd defend him if he was a Hull player, but there's little danger of you getting someone of his qualiy
Oh right in that case he should have just sat back and watch him be bullied Even for you, that's dosile.
Yy You've told us he's done a diversity course about ten times today. You must really believe this is wonderful of him. You do realise he was pushed into doing a diversity course? The thick **** wouldn't have known what the word meant until then.
