Mckinnon's statement - I found a list of officers' names … under the heading 'Non-Terrestrial Officers’. It doesn't mean little green men. What I think it means is not Earth-based. I found a list of 'fleet-to-fleet transfers', and a list of ship names. I looked them up. They weren't US Navy ships. What I saw made me believe they have some kind of spaceship, off-planet." President Reagan's Diary, the entry for Tuesday, June 11, 1985 (page 334) reads: Lunch with 5 top space scientist. It was fascinating. Space truly is the last frontier and some of the developments there in astronomy etc. are like science fiction, except they are real. I learned that our shuttle capacity is such that we could orbit 300 people. Reagan’s comment was revealing since the recently retired Space Shuttle held a maximum of eight people and only five were built for space flight. Even if all five took off fully loaded it would be impossible to place and maintain 300 astronauts in orbit. Was Reagan revealing the existence of a highly classified space program that could accommodate hundreds of astronauts in orbit?
He once made a speech where he referred to an outside threat to our planet uniting all of our nations. Weird reference, but Reagan was one of those who was quite keen to get to the bottom of the mystery. Mind you, so was JFK and that didn't end too well.
He made a few speeches inferring the threat of alien invasion.# Governments releasing their UFO files, more and more acceptance of aliens existing, government/military officials admitting contact, all points to a combined effort to desensitise the masses, ready for the inevitable statement.
It seems some of the posters who still play kids computer games are the ones going on about aliens. Surely not a coincidence...
I like to think it's the boring, cynical old sods who aren't open minded enough to consider other possibilities.
Then of course there was Britain releasing its ufo files in 2010, the Americans really weren't happy about that. Gotta wonder why, after all, it's our country. I don't think there'll be a worldwide statement about it, they'll either turn up and there'll be mass hysteria or they'll just keep covering it up. A government movement towards disclosure would cause mass destabilising across many of the worlds religions and cultures. People would riot and would no longer acknowledge their leaders as in control. Not sure it's a route they'd wanna go down.
It is, but when was the last time the media did the people a favour? There isn't a free mind in those news outlets, they pretty much report on what they're told too. It's why you only hear about this kind of thing in The Sun.
Haha, just a gentle wind-up. I've already said on this thread I think the idea that our rock is the only one of billions we know and dont know about that can support intelligent life is a preposterous one.
Therein lies a valid point - instead of pissing about in one craft in small town Hicksville, Tennesse visiting gap-toothed pitch-fork waving yokels, why dont we get ****loads of them coming en-masse and hovvering above a mass populous area for ages so there can be no doubt regarding the credibility of what it is?
A number of reasons I guess, if they were to be benevolent and far more advanced, they wouldn't want to interfere knowing the panic it would create. We aren't exactly stable as a species as it is, we still have people who's first instinct is to punch you in the face because "they feel like a fight" after 3 Stellas. Hardly the kind of civilisation that's ready to advance. We're still a type 0, id imagine any ETs that came here would be type III or higher.
Aliens are like ghosts, unless you see one, they don't exist, although the likelihood of aliens existing is higher than ghosts! Probably!
How have you worked that out? We know 100% that people have died. We don't know 100% whether there has been the exact situation required for the formation of life on another planet or not. If you're talking about the existence of something we haven't yet found then surely it's more likely to come if we know for a fact that the conditions required to make it have existed. Although, what about a ghost alien?
