I have absolutely no idea how this will go but feel drawn to a 3-2 but the big question is which way :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0149-no:

For us to score we first have to get a shot on target, then we have to beat their keeper. Two things we haven`t done for quite a while.

Still, hope abounds, our luck must change sometime, whether Monk is there to see it or not is questionable.

... might happen of course ... but would be the first time we haven't scored this season if it does ...

    :)
... indeed ... the same experts who were predicting our certain relegation before a ball was kicked are now consoling themselves by doom mongering our prospects should Vards and / or Mahrez get injured ...

Ranieri dropped Mahrez for the away game at Norwich following a rather disappointing (by his standards) performance against Arsenal ... we comfortably beat Norwich despite the 2-1 scoreline (had another goal by Ulloa ruled out harshly for Huth having worried the keeper with his presence <laugh>) at a time when they were going quite well..

Ulloa was our top scorer last season not Vards - he may or may not start against you dependent on the formation we set out with ..

Whilst Vards and Mahrez have had the plaudits ... the real base for our success is stemming from the ever evolving midfield partnership of Danny Drinkwater and N'Golo Kante who have been absolutely superb .. plus our strength in depth this time around ... Inler the Swiss international captain can't get in the starting XI whilst Christian Fuchs, the Austrian international captain only managed to break into the side about 4 games ago ...

Expect us to be one of the quickest sides you have encountered when we break and we do play some very entertaining stuff ...

Anticipating a cracking game of footie ... good luck for the rest of the season after Saturday (until the return of course) :)

I am expecting another inept, clueless and total lack of spirit or energy performance masterminded by the incompetent Monk. I can not see where the next win is coming from, we don't look like scoring and look like conceding every time a team attacks. I hope we win but cant see it, The other issue is if we win Monk continues and that cant happen.

Don't bother watching us then, the only good football you will see will be played by the team in blue.

We held Liverpool to barely nothing in the form of an attack are last game , a free flowing Liverpool team that put 4 past Man City their game before , coupled with the fact that your last game played, which in my eyes was not near you ' re best , has got me hoping we will kill two birds with one stone this game ....a win and a clean sheet.....keep in mind , a lot of hope involved here Lol

<laugh> ... all good ... but don't forget we were playing against van Gaals anti-football ensemble ... the meanest defence in the Prem <laugh> ... they still failed to stop Vardy mind, and we should have had at least one more (Ulloa chance) ... I can't see the Swans, at home, attempting as many sideways / backwards passes as United did .. a testament of how far we have come is that their main threat was from set-pieces ... given their history it was like watching role reversal (nice for us mind) ...

Am I the only one when looking at Leicester who is filled with two major emotions? Envy and sadness. Envy because of the way they play which is both entertaining to watch and effective on the pitch, and sadness because there's more than a hint of our former style. I'm not saying they are plagiarists at all and they deserve all the plaudits they get but in many ways they are the 'new Swansea' whilst we have turned into an average make-up-the-numbers team that will be lucky to stay up. That's how far we've fallen.

That pass to Vardy against the three man defence was an absolute thing of beauty.
Also the manner in which Vardy was able to keep his speed while adjusting to stay onside shows the intellectual quality of this young man , many expierenced strikers would have lost a half step on the adjustment.

I don't think the syle is necessarily similar ... but the new kid on the block able to give any team in the league a real test analogy is definitely in point.

Got a lot of time for the Swans ... my missus is from Ystraddgynlais and her family are Jacks - we tend to spend Xmas down there - seen a fair few of your games over festive periods including one against Barnet at the old vetch many years ago when we first got together - went down with her brother - might have been boxing day - you won 1-0 in front of a modest but very vocal crowd - so I've loved observing your rise from there to establishing yourselves in the Prem - my fear for you is that you are not the wealthiest club in the league and if you do get hauled into the relegation scrap you may not be able to buy your way out like some ...

That said - Villa are truly awful and look to be gone already whilst Bournemoiuth's injury crisis may be too much to overcome ... if you can recapture your early season form against the likes of Chelsea and United you will definitely be OK - you'll understand that my hoping you run into form is from Sunday onwards <laugh>

What's sad is that it took all of 18 months to destroy all the great work by consecutive managers and I include Flynn in that number to build .It's appears to be easier to destroy than build , perhaps he should write a book
