The recall is key. Otherwise he has to replace Schwarzer - which will happen next season anyway. He'd be a fantastic loan for any Championship club, even if he could be recalled
Rumours circulating on Twitter (not the most veritable source of correct information on the internet) that a deal has been struck for Stockdale to go on loan to Town. EDIT: The Sun seem to think it's close; http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3708469/Fulham-4-Crusaders-0.html
Get the deal done! We couldn't possibly have a better man between the sticks, recall or no recall. Something tells me this is going Leeds' way.
his better half wants him to go to Leeds so wtf would he go to Ipswich a very average championship team....
According to today's Sun, Jol has said Ipswich is the "likely destination". Looks like Stockdale's missus is going to be disappointed.
TWTD claims we (Ipswich) are leading the chase, however quotes from Martin Jol (which are open to interpretation) suggest that they are trying to negotiate a loan move to a premier league club to include a recall clause but if that isn't possible he will go to a championship club.
I think Ipswich are willing to have the recall clause in place while Leeds have refused. I think Leeds as a destination is now unlikely unless Grayson backs down on the recall issue.
For ****s sake ! Why is Grayson stalling on a recall clause ? Because he's worried we will be left without a 1st choice keeper if Schwarzer gets injured ? At this rate we'll be left without a 1st choice keeper before the season starts !
Givens wages would have been at least 50k to much Stockdale will go to the club who offers most money to Fulham
He wouldn't be sold because they see him as a replacement for Schwarzer, that's the whole reason he's going out on loan. So the fee and wages could swing it one way or the other.
