Haven't thought about cheese yet for Christmas. Usually all goes to waste as everyone eats too much.

The nearest you'll come to power lifting today will be yanking up your skids after parking that light snack later

Try to limit Maccies to every other week. I will no doubt go through the afternoon full of self loathing. Was t even very good. Nuggets were good but the burgers had that feel of having been sat there ages..

A visit to Maccie D's makes me feel dirty these days. Even while I'm eating it, I'm full of remorse.

I'd feel less shame coming out of the back of a sheep.

I had one Saturday, took my kids as a 'treat'. The weather being horrific we'd barely got out of the house so I took them after a party one of them went too.

I had a spicy festive chicken something or other. I only now buy a burger for me as they leave so much I know there will be chips and half burgers I will have to hoover up, plus the inevitable unfinished McFlurries they had to ****ing have.

They ain't going again this year, no way. The only other time I have the stuff is a breakfast once a month-ish. That's the only half decent stuff you can get there.

I had a Tesco rotisserie bacon king rib (reduced to 80p) and a mixed salad with coleslaw and grated cheddar.

    Very nice too.

The quail egg is now repeating. It was inevitable.

Same here. Except for me it is also the wife, who decides she has to have chips and some desert or other, and then proceeds to get food guilt and leaves it all for me.

She and the little one do it in pretty much every restaurant, to the point at which I've stopped ordering desert altogether. Only to get grief because they know I am doing it on the assumption they won't eat theirs. For some reason me not wanting to stuff myself full of a whole portion of desert then finish off half of each of theirs is utterly unbelievable to them.

That happens in my house.....I open the fridge and am told which of the food items that I have paid for that I am not allowed to eat. I can have them once they've been rejected and discarded by the other occupants of and visitors to the house I pay for.

Last year was the first year we hosted Christmas with the new kitchen I just paid for and this year will be the second.

I'm allowed to make the breakfast on Christmas day and that's it.

I am not complaining, trust me! Might be different if I wasn't allowed to go in the fridge or eat any food but that's not case so I'm happy to leave her to it and I even get to **** off to the pub for an hour or so. Tidy.

*it's a ****ing great breakfast mind*
