    Heard something like that, apparently they were offering 20m euros. Made me wonder why they dont bid for Jose if they have that kind of money for an LB.

    Why would liverpool buy downing for 20 mil when nzogbia is available for 10? Liverpool are making some strange decisions

    Not looking good for Jose seeing as he wants to leave. I can see him signing a short term extension if he doesn't get much interest in the first half of the season.

    I think he will if we start really well, no chance of getting him on a 5 year deal though.

    Whose the left back Liverpool are after? Arsenal probably would have already made a bid for Jose if they were going for a new left back, we may well have him next season. All the rumours of Bayern being interested has died down & I cant see Barca buying him yet.

    I heard Arsenal said they wont be signing a replacement for Clichy. Gibbs and Vermaelen can play there.

    And he gets a Spain call up. There's an international break early in the season, hopefully Del Bosque will do the obviously sensible thing and give him a couple of caps.

    It's only fair he does, now that he's been linked with Liverpool pundits are forced to admit he is a good player so he's getting more attention.

    I hope we keep Tiote, Guthrie, Smith and Enrique.

    Barton should go because he is a criminal along with Ranger.

    I think we will sign a striker. My bet goes on Ngog.

    Maybe also a winger as well. Hopefully N'Zogbia but the fat **** won't spend even though he made a massive profit with sports drect last year.

    Maybe, you woulda thought so - we clinched survival and have signed some decent players so far - it's the things that he said he wanted =/ It's only European football we can't offer him!

    Though if none of Arsenal, Bayern, Barca come in for him he could just well end up staying and helping US to get into Europe!

    Here's hoping, anyway...
