Elland is having technical issues so I will have to do I'm afraid :)

Of all the years watching Leeds United I don't think I have ever felt as disengaged.... do we agree with Popey?

Jeez there's some heartrending Tweets from #Lufc fans tonight. Seen worse defeats but it's one of the lowest points I've seen for supporters

Sam Byram contract seems to be the number one thing on Steve Evans mind, Insulting Sam with a pay cut was Cellino's first mistake but then trying to make it seem like Sam wanted out of the club ruined our chances of keeping the player. I can see Massimo's thinking, Luke Murphy took a cut a pay cut so Sam can afford to.....Sam will get at least what he is on currently and the rumour is that Leeds have offered him 50% less.

    Morning Don & all....

Totally agree, a feeling of why do I bother and starting to not care, accepting this is as good as it is going to be, that's my mood on all things LUFC at the moment.

Cellino still has supporters I know but even they cannot defend his treatment of Sam. Interest from PL teams and instead of securing him he offers a pay cut?

Yes he is the owner, if he wants to be foolish enough to try the offer fine, but to then come out in public and say what he did is childish, foolish and shows that he hasn't really a clue how to run a football club

Morning all. Over the years we've had some horrible results, especially in the cups. But the last 10+ years have really been poxy. Leeds United have cost me a lot of money, a lot of hair and maybe a liver. But call it stubbornness or blind faith, I'll never stop supporting them. Hoping to get to the Wendies away game in Jan.<ok>

    Morning all by the way..

    Morning all

Yup this has to be a very very low point. This squad is meant to have some good players in it. Where the **** are they. The sooner we get a new owner the better.

As for Byram taking a 50% pay cut if that was offered to me... I do think Physical violence may occur. That's the most insulting thing an employer can do. It really is asking for somebody to walk out

Morning all. I was surprised that the QPR poster said we made a great atmosphere on Saturday. I thought the crowd were unusually very subdued. There was the usual MOT but otherwise quieter than I have heard before. Loads of frustrated shouts at players. Mate of mine who had to sit in with QPR said the same.

Despite how poor the team are, the fans keep going. The away end was over subscribed with two rows of people standing in the row of seats in front and people standing on the stairway.

Not sure if this is blind loyalty or whether everyone just likes getting out for the day and getting blotto. Probably both.

Saw Charlton was sold out last week, so demand remains. Perhaps home attendance would be a better gauge of how fans are beginning to feel. Certainly after 12 years I feel like a bit of a football punchbag, with midweek and Saturdays turned sour by poor results.

Really cant get that interested in any football any more, where once I would watch a few premier, European and internationals, I now rarely do. Salaries, overseas player mercenaries, crappy club owners, stupid prices for fans all contribute to the malaise.

We keep plugging away with LUFC because we all share the passion and currently we can all share the disappointment. Then the hope and build up towards the next game. Then the cycle continues. This will all end the day that we struggle to sell tickets at home and away, and when forum posts drop to every other day, then weekly, like some teams on here.

The thing is will LUFC get it right before this happens, because this is the only thing keeping the club going, the fans. You can't keep ****ing the fans over, week in, week out. 12 years of complete an utter chaos requires a lot of patience from fans.. What other business would expect the customer to pay out so much a week for such dross? Certainly that company would have closed down within months.

How much longer will fans plough in their money each week. Let's face it, it is not exactly an insignificant amount of money and the economy is not great.

Well said.... Kids have peer pressure at school too, they don't want the mickey taken out of them when a mate asks who do they support. The next generation of Leeds fans isn't going to be there, once our generation are gone.

Lee...depending what age you are there were bad days well before the last ten+ years. After 1978 and into the 80s there wasn't much to shout about, well not until Wilko turned up. The home crowd was bad in those days, but the away days were well supported. So some things never change. All we can do is look to the next game and take it from there. <ok>

Eire, now I respect your opinions and I hope you don't take my comments badly, but you are starting to sound a bit like the supporters from the other side of the Pennines who we slag for the same reason. <wah>
