    Why stop watching Homeland?

    The following may explain..........

Hot Blonde - Hi! I'm the hot blonde ex-FBI lady who has mental issues and is quite likely to shag terrorists and fall in love with them, you sacked me because of this.

FBI man - Oh yeah I remember, complete nutter totally unstable.

Hot Blonde - Can I have my job back?

FBI man - Suppose so, here's a gun.

It's brilliant suspense. You know it's coming but it does an excellent job of keeping you from knowing when. Even in the bits where they're only waiting and there's no movement i was tense as hell

I can't believe it's sneaked out there, should have been in the cinemas and have a much higher profile, Oscars coming up and it should be recognised one of the best war films in years.

I bet it would be spectacular on the big screen. I loved the gallows humor from them so funny.

Yeah it's a great script, funny as. Considering it's pretty much a bunch of guys stuck in a ravine for 90 minutes they've managed to do a lot with it

Isn't it based on a true incident

Yeah it is, from back in 2006. They've managed to largely stay true to what was going on in the dialogue. The soldiers at the premiere who saw it approved anyway

  9. Mid-season TWD finale was good imo. Not great but certainly not ****.

It wasn't the big "finale" but it set the tone for the second half of the season. Plenty of story lines covered and setup nicely for the reminder of the season.

For some reason I had poor expectations. <laugh>
I also thought it was ok and just a filler between seasons, there's been a fair amount of drama this season anyway.
Without spoiling I think all of the suited up group either have enough experience or have learned enough to keep walking, only the one is going to get it.

Walking Dead mid season finale was ok....
    I agree with Greez.
Not excellent, not ****e, just ok.

Very weird imbalance in this season, in that the first 4 episodes were very good, and the second 4 episodes were....not so good.
The post credits scene at the end of the mid season finale was exciting though, for anyone who has read the comics. :)

  12. I'd say there is a balance. You can't have very good episodes throughout, there needs to be story line development; aka fillers.

Did you see the post credits scene?

  14. Yes. I don't read the comics so I don't know what it means. I did know that character/group (?) was due to be introduced but its come a little sooner than I expected.

It should be quite a good introduction and is a bit overdue imo.

Do we think that Negan's group were the ones hunting down the folks who stole Daryl's bike?
    I think it probably is.

  17. I assumed that to be more Wolf's (Wolves?) at the time but you could well be right since they were miles away from base

Yes, they were also talking about possesions and paying.

Also they had guns and cars. and the Wolves had neither of those things (Presumably because Negan has been taking them off them)
