I agree that it is a great prospect, but it is the fear of picking up injuries and players tiring that worries me.
Don't get me wrong. I don't want to lose or throw the game, if we can win and progress then great. I just hope its done with resting a few crucial players.
Thing is, people say that aren't fussed and extra games etc... But then when we go and lose and play ****, those same people often moan about the performance. #wantyourcakeandeatit
Win them! Win them all! I think klopp will be of the same mindset tbh, normally I would agree that other comps are more of a priority but it's like 4 games away from a cup in your 1st season arriving at the club, it will lift the fans, motivate and show the players they can believe in your style and also as someone said "get that monkey off his back"( in terms of winning something) at the earliest opportunity possible. For those reasons I think klopp will take it very seriously.
And bang on mediocrity (nowhere near as bad as those below) but I sense there is nothing likely to happen there this year.
Looking forward to game should be a cracker, reckon we'll line up something like this: Stekkers Cedric VVD Fonte Bertrand Wanyama Clasie Mane Davis Tadic Pelle Hard one to call. In a way I'd feel more confident if this was at Anfield as I think both our teams more suited to playing away. Anyone on here going to the game?
Just pissing about pal, I think most on here aren't from Liverpool. Billy goes to Anfield regularly but not sure about anyone else.
Fair enough yeah I've noticed before that you have a few fans based down South (is Skylarker one of them?) So thought one of them may be coming as I saw last week that you still had tickets left
Sky is in Weymouth so not too far away. He does occasionally go to games like this and is probably the most likely on here too
Aye, both teams right now appear to be better away from home, should be a cracking, open game.. Who wins, ain't the foggiest, wouldn't be surprised to see it go to Pens!
