Oooh Gremlins... Good call. Kids between 11 and 6. 6 y/o may or may not be scared. Sometimes silly things scare her and scary things she laughs at.

She might like Labyrinth or Never Ending Story. Maybe a bit dated these days but I still love them lol

Watched Bully (2001) really good based on a true story.

Has anyone seen Harsh Times, the reviews are mixed?

Walking Dead was really meh ... total cop out for the mid-point finale, actually bordering on ****

Getting bored with this show now. It's too repetitive and the writing is patchy. It's still better than most of what's on tv but it could be so much better and it isn't. V frustrating

Only thing keeping me with it is that I'm somewhat invested in the major characters who've been there since the early days and want to know what happens to them. All the newer ones, especially the Alexandria people, most of whom are completely forgotten for all of this episode along with some of the big ones, are disposable extras, unimportant and not worth investment

I sort of agree, it was dull last season but has been very good so far this time around. I want a road to the programme ending, it's pointless carrying on season after season with no sign of a finale. They either find a sanctuary or all die, or a cure, whatever but don't just plod on.

For me the first half of the season, up to ep 3 possibly 4, was excellent but after that it lost it's way and became very muddled and messy.

I don't like how they've dragged Rick's failed plan out to last an entire season and the constant repeated 'group finds safe haven, safe haven becomes massively compromised' motif is very lazy, i.e.

Centre for Disease Control - think they've found somewhere safe, truth comes along
Prison - think they've found somewhere safe, governor comes along
Terminus - think they'll find somewhere safe, termites come along
Alexandria - think they've found somewhere safe, zombies come along

They seemed to be promising big things for this episode and it was really very flat, some of the character's decisions and turns of event are inexplicable, laughable as were those of how the episode was structured. Something felt missing, it wasn't satisfying, it didn't tie anything up or set anything up as this kind of episode should.

I also don't like how watching the show is essentially a waiting game. They put things off, put them off, put them off etc. and it really tries your patience. Just get to the action and stop needlessly ****ing around with your audience. I'd rather have 5 seasons of solid, tense drama, than 10 of decent scenes interspersed with loads of time-wasting and bs devoid of any narrative tension. Less is more people, less is more.

The cut-scene after the credits at the end of the episode was actually better than the entire episode <laugh><doh>

Although the storyline that introduces already feels familiar and repetitive

I agree they have been putting things off for a while just so that the show can continue, with the comics being an ongoing thing it seems as though they don't want to catch up.

Finished Better Call Saul. ****ing excellent. Up to ep 7 of Jessica Jones. Enjoying it a lot. She looks very like my youngest, disturbingly <yikes>

Trivia from series 2 of Breaking Bad. Walt to Walt Jnr (who is listening to some ****e on the hi-fi) "Listen to Steely Dan, it's better than any of the modern music" or words to that effect. A very wise and intelligent man <ok>
