I've regularly posted about this for the last 6-8 months. Of course he f*cking isnt. Arsenal don't have many English players, so when go to Carrow Road?!
Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the pitch too, but I can't think of anyone else near the England squad on show today.
God I'm angry. Every time Redmonds on the ball, he looks such class! He would be bought on for arsenal against us! He looks like an Arsenal youth player ready to break through! How he never starts for us anymore...I'm gobsmacked. Ridiculous.
Well that's a point I doubt many of us were anticipating in a predicted 40 point season, and not one we looked like getting in the first half, so not the worst of days!
A well earned point and could perhaps have been more! Whatever AN has done with the defence is working far better, just a shame the clean sheets are every bit as elusive.
well that was a great second half. Wisdom growing in stature, Brady immense. Looks like Monk will be off in the morning. Unlucky
I'm actually gutted we didn't nick that, I actually think Neil outwitted Wenger with his tactics, fair play to him
Draw was fair. I can't believe we go a point. I wish I'd seen what happened if we played our best players for once. I think we could have got 3 point tonight. If we didnt play to lose by only 2-3 goals. Wish he would have played to shock Arsenal and win. The win was there, even with that sh*t selection. Imagine if we played our best players who deserved to play?
I can give you the highlights - They are annoyed that they can't beat one of the worst teams in the league, and they were **** in the 2nd half (not that City played very well)
AN got his tactics right today, if it wasn't for that Ruddy mistake we might have won it, but it's a good point and I wasn't expecting to get anything from this game so I'm happy. I also thought Grabban shouldn't have started, but guess I was wrong about that. Not too much to be negative about though, Arsenal are a top team, to get anything is a massive boost.
Watford away and Everton at home next up, both of those are opportunities for points, well as both teams have played. Going into the January window, we'll look an awful lot more attractive if we can stay a few points above the relegation zone.
Frankly I think AN was completely vindicated in his selection. Part of Redmond's effect was that he came on late the late use of pace as key to our counter attacking. Against Man city and Chelsea we lost to a quick free kick and a penalty (granted a perfectly valid one) today we conceded from a mistake but I will give John the benefit of the doubt due to the wind. The defending is looking much better and we seem to be getting forward well too. I'm not surprised that Wisdom and Bennett getting into the team has improved things. It's unfortunate for Martin but Ryan Bennett has proved himself a better CB than Russ and he's in the team now and doesn't want to let go.
