Usually Brighton is an away game not to be missed. This year, I have little motivation to go.

Or I should support the club, no matter what, which the "98%" are still spouting.

Taking the oldest to a football party in hove and going straight to the game from there otherwise I would! Certainly meet up for a beer or 5 at an away game at some point.

I reckon he wanted to get himself sent off when he applauded the referee after getting a yellow not long before. The ref only gave him a telling off but he got his wish a minute later when he got hauled off and we at last started to threaten.

    Yes definitely.

I'm at Burnley, Bristol and Hull so would be good.

If you're staying overnight they have greyhound racing at Hove.

The Leaburn comparison is apt considering how he also divided fan opinion. I seem to be the only one but think he has his uses. I won't pretend he is better than Kermorgant because he is not. However in all the other games I have watched this season he has caused problems and does scare defenders through his aerial dominance. Up until yesterday he won headers and created chances and did score the occasional goal. If he continues to play like he did yesterday then fair enough he shouldn't be kept but if yesterday was a blip I'd be happy to continue playing him.

I tend to agree with Konstantin - I'm sure a heat Map would show how deep big Mak was having to drop to get on to the ball. You could probably count his number of touches in the oppositions box on one hand.

The diamond appears to be too narrow for Mak to really be effective. It's shocking that with a guy that size we didn't look to cross it to him more often.

I usually do on average of 10 away games. This year, I've done one, and I think it's going to stay that way.

I'm contemplating not bothering renewing, don't enjoy it as much, several reasons other than the dissatisfaction with the owners

Don't know if I have the willpower to travel that far atm! Only going this weekend as it's convenient and have lots of mates who are Brighton fans.

That brings back memories! Haven't been in years ( I only moved away from hove recently), always a laugh.

Luzon blamed Big Mak's absence through injury for the team's poor form! Seriously! I don't know why Reza isn't starting. Whatever has happened previously he's playing well now, and also found space to get in a couple of good headers on goal in his short cameo.

Along with Oxford, Brighton is one of the most agreeable parts of the country.

Big Mak symbolises everything that's wrong with Roland's regime, namely incompetence and mediocrity. He couldn't have been scouted because he wasn't playing in Italy (you could apply that to most signings ), and when he gets here lo and behold it turns out he doesn't have any of the qualifications required to do the job. We all know his faults so no point in listing them, but like our CEO Roland has put him in the firing line to do a job he is not capable of doing. In one sense I feel for the lad, being cheered off like that must be horrible, but in another sense the sight of him in a Charlton shirt makes me see red (no pun intended), because he is a symbol of the mediocrity of Roland's philosophy.

The only positive is that we have the Mak-donkey on loan, and he will be heading to pastures new [geddit..] at the end of this season.

He should be paid his wages in carrots.

I'm still sticking with my viewpoint, or at least up to a point. I think Fox, for example, as reaped a lot of abuse, but tcontinues to try his hardest, and doesn't hide, for which he deserves a lot more praise than he gets (look at Poyet, with his Premier pedigree, hiding away and not risking anything dificult). Mak is basically shot. he's on a hiding to nothing, and I imagine is counting the minutes to the end of his loan. Royston picked a good point here. He was'nt scouted in Italy. as he was'nt playing, except maybe a quick look at his wage demands. However, he is simply not working out now, and that isn't going to change. Riga should have seen that earlier, and not picked him, and certainly should have realised he simply isn't a lone striker, and taken him off tuesday. He may well not be what we need as a team right now, but the idiot who stuck him on his own up front deserves a lot of the stick that Mak got tuesday night.
