Sky sports news today...... David Beckham has laughed off suggestions big-spending Manchester City are set to overtake neighbours United, insisting "there's only one team in Manchester". Beckham, whose current team LA Galaxy meet City in a friendly on Saturday, admits the Blues will challenge for honours next season but insists they are nowhere near to eclipsing the achievements of their biggest rivals. "City are bringing good players in, they've got strong people with a lot of money behind them, so they're going to improve," said the 36-year-old. "But they'll never be Manchester United. They might be a threat this season, but United have got the history, the silverware over the last 20 years. "There's only one team in Manchester, but City I'm sure will be a team to look at going forward."
