please log in to view this image We are predicted to finish in 18th place. Who'd settle for 18th place?
Me But would like to know on what basis they think we are going to improve our points per game ratio. That points total is very optimistic. Right now would snatch their hands off for fourth bottom.
You wont get 51 points Bristol,Rotherham,Charlton, will all finish above you Leaving 3 from 4 to go down....
Charlton won't. Douche and Katrien (mmmmmmmmmm) are as bad as Cellino and are more interested in their Belgian football club.
I think Charlton have won 2 of their last 3 and I watched their game yesterday although the scoreline says otherwise they played some half decent footy they wont have to improve by much to leave you lot behind
It was mentioning a snatch and grabbing four bottoms all in one sentence that alerted me. It's some sort of code, right?
Roland will take any decent prospects from this feeder club to project standard liege. Plus he must be about to play manager merry go round between his clubs again.
I would take it... Our season used to be over in January, then December and November, now our season continues into the new year for the wrong reasons, the hope we don't get relegated.
Charlton will finish above us, I can just see it now, last game of the season, we are away to Preston. Grayson enjoying three points over us Beckford scoring the winner and Hull fans taking great pleasure in Rotherham and Redfearn beating them sending us down and Rotherham staying up, the stage is set.
Thanks for the link Elland. I have no idea how they produce these results down to 2 decimal places. They must take into account lots of variables which are guesswork at best. Test them out by logging their predictions at various stage of season and see how they do. They will of course keep changing the predictions as real results come in. Interesting thread but a lot of serious "what ifs " What a crap position to be in where we are debating survival at this level. Coming up to pantomine season we need a "fairy godmother" to appear pretty quick. ......Know any ? As things stand I reckon 44 points for safety this season....... with Leeds on 48/50
Eire last season we were in your position and the season before that and the season before that etc.. we went down cleared out 18 ****e players and brought through our own academy players we are on the up only lost 2 away games all season and we are now winning our home games we are playing good footy scoring goals and getting stronger and stronger.."YES" I want us back in the championship "BUT" I want us to be competitive the last 4 seasons were fooking ****e.... I am enjoying this one
Sometimes a clear out is good, we did it before, the team we were promoted with from Div1 were miles better than this one, just sad that Bates sold the best and never strengthened us when we were top in December. If we had kept that team together and brought in 2-3 quality players who knows where we would have been. The problem for us is Taylor and Cook, they have been brought in already and other teams are sitting up taking notice of them, would we hold on to them if we went down, no. We just need an owner who cares and who knows how to run a football club properly, until then it is always going to be crappy season after crappy season.
