Brighton just gone 2-1 up against Birmingham. Burnley losing 1-0 away to Cardiff. Middlesbrough winning 1-0 away to Huddersfield.
Play off chasers Reading (to Forest) and Birmingham losing. That means Cardiff and Ipswich are closing in on 6th place. (Ipswich beat Charlton earlier).
Down to 4th. 3 points off Brighton, one ahead of Burnley. 7 points ahead of those outside the play-offs.
It's very tight in those top 5 places. Could easily change again next week so we need to use that as an incentive to get back up in the top 2 places. Will also help if we avoid this square pegs in round holes business.
Roberto you cant blame Bruce because Clucas cant trap a ball or Jake can only pass to their players...
Starting with a very strange square pegs and round holes policy for player selection on Friday has proved quite costly.
We had the "just like a library" on Friday. We were 2-0 down and playing really really **** against a side who will almost certainly finish below us. What did they expect, a ****ing conga line?
Watched the Reading V Dramas tonight, 2 poor teams neither deserved to win but the Dramas snatched in the 89th minute 1-0 with a goal keeper howler.
Agreed. The only redeeming fact is that it kept Reading out of the playoff spots. Mind you, with Jimmy F-H arriving @ DQPR, that result might not be so welcome afterall ?
Well Jimmy F-H has done well as his previous clubs, whether he can replicate that at the Dramas OTWT.
Reading blew it big time last night against a poor QPR. Middlesboro have a tough one @ Ipswich Town tonight. Live on sky sports btw. Brighton look to have an easy one @ home with Charlton. Derby have a tough one on sunday @ the Wendies. So a Hull City win @ TWS and a top 2 spot again should be ours. NB. Brighton's next 2 games are away @ Derby and QPR.
