Let's cut to the chase, this imposter is one SH1T footballer.

Has anyone seen a worse performance from a "striker" (Trades Description Act) that the utter gash he produced today

What is this ineffective Albino actually supposed to be good at? He gets knocked off the ball, he wins **** all in the air, and he can't trap the ball or hold it up.

The fans started getting right on his back today, I reckon everyone has had enough of him.

Please send this sh1tehawk back from wherever he came, FFS.

I agree totally, he didn't make a contribution all match, not one. Much much worse than Leaburn, who could at least hold the ball up. So bad he is worth his own thread.

After every single loss someone says this is the worst *insert here* I have ever seen. Makienok was absolutely terrible today but I have definitely seen worse. Akpo Sodje springs to mind. Makienok was completely in the pocket of the two centre backs but played an important role in a few of our wins.

I am not expecting Makienok to score 20 goals a season, or even 10, but winning the occasional header would be nice.

He did not get in front of his man once today.

Unfair to single him out. Today, he was by every account diabolical, but that hardly makes him a standout this season. He certainly should hit the bench after today, but if I'm going to grind an axe, I prefer to single out the characters who have given us this manager, the promotion chasing squad we have, and the fact we have spent nearly half a season relying on youngsters to dig us out. We were after that Johnson lad from Wolves, but he was too expensive. So we play with these guys. They don't ask to be picked, the manager picks his best XI.
Anyway, we had a bloke called Church a while back.....

    Ken-

Church is better than Makienok mate <cheers>

In the same way that Nora Batty is prettier than Susan Boyle

Don't get me wrong he had an awful game. Admittedly 10 games is probably not enough to judge a player properly but I think the one thing he can do is win headers. Today was a blip because he came up against someone better at it than him. His failure to be in the box for Holmes-Dennis' and even Fox's crosses was inexcusable though.

I'd rather have Kermorgant overall but I think that Makienok is an asset.

The difference when he came off was staggering. Their goalie made two terrific saves, one shot cleared off the line and another header from Reza just missed. He had absolutely nothing to offer today on the ground or in the air. Whatever he's done in other games, today his contribution was non-existent.

That honestly was the worst striking performance I've witnessed, and we've been served up some rubbish in the last few years. I'd start Reza for a few games, he looked quality against Wednesday

Like many people I wanted us to bring in a big centre-forward who could hold the ball up, win knock-downs and generally disrupt the oppositions defence. I hoped Simon Makienok would be that man.
It's clear now, he isn't. He's been consistently poor, with yesterday being his worst performance. He's on loan, so send him back in December and get another option in when the 'window' opens January.

I am not saying it was the worst, I can remember Plumb, Endean, Pawel Abbott, Mike Small, Akpo Sodje. But it was pretty bad. If he can't head the ball what does he bring to the team?

Strange that we have a player of his height, yet don't cross the ball in to him. Fraeye stumbled upon the diamond, and after 5 minutes yesterday you could see it wasn't working.

Instead of changing it up, he just moved players from position to position. Some changes were out of his hands due to injury, others were strange.

Mick would have been laughing inside for the whole 90 minutes.

Did anyone else notice Diarra give Makienok an almighty rollicking in the second half. It was during a stoppage - possibly when JBG got one in the nuts.

It was quite clear that Diarra was impolitely telling Makienok to start putting himself about a bit. His lack of physicality is inexplicable for someone of his size. Think of Mick Harford or even Andy Carroll. Makienok seems scared to head the ball.

Diarra needed to have a word with himself for his clearance on the first goal!!!

I'll be amazed if we start with two men up front next week.

Facing the league leaders away we'll be 4-5-1 with a backs to the wall performance.

Reckon you're right. A game where carol will go for a 0-0 and we'll be 2-0 down after 20 minutes.

Which would be great, then 200 or so drunken bums can stoke up the "Meire Out" and "Roland you're a ****" songs.
