Couldn't agree more, but, sadly, we'll still buy Japanese cars, electronics, etc ............. the only way to truly hurt them would be if the consumer walked away. Won't happen though.

Being serious it was a worthwhile thing to do. It said I had a very sophisticated and highly developed taste in music. When I told the very lovely Mrs Godders she said I must have told it a pack of lies. I didn't. I enjoy a very wide range of musical genres although what I listen to at any time will reflect my mood. Having said that I have never listened to Radio One. As Marty Feldman used to sing " Radio One is a load of fun like migraine headaches". So for a bit of fun here are my desert island discs:

Godders, do yourself a favour and get a digital radio and listen to BBC Radio 6 Music. It's Radio One for grown ups.

 

Lovely. I've had 2 goes and my iPad fell over on nos. 14 and 21 respectively. I'll try again on my Mac later!

 

I am looking for a digital radio as we speak but I want one that I can keep by my bed so that I can listen to it at night and has a snooze button. I also have to find one with the right tone as with my hearing sometimes I miss what people are saying because I can't separate out the words.
