Don't agree Wj. At least in league 1 we were competitive and would be again. We have a league one midfield, nothing better. Can't compete with any other teams and the valuations of our midfielders I've seen here and elsewhere are laughable at best
I always thought we would do it in L1, with the team we had we could and should have done back to back promotions. You have to question is this it, is this our lot, another 3,4,5,6 seasons plodding in the lower half of the championship. No idea what the answer is, said before I felt pre-season Cellino did it all 100% right, decent pre-season opposition, new players in, money spent, strong backroom... Maybe we are cursed.
No we already have plenty that are slow and not able to get a shot away. But at fifty it's understandable in bairdys case.
I'd give Sloth and Bianchi their chance, Mowatts had it, form's way way down, Cook seemed very charitable today with his give aways so he and Mowatt out. Botaka should be starting, seems Evans may be playing a couple of favourites. Wood's a waste of space and the Antenucci subbing was a bad decision imo. I'd give the Duke a couple of games to find form, can't be any worse than Woods at moment. We need to take a chance every now and then to make things change.
