I hope Bridcutt follows Butterfields career after getting badly injured playing for Barnsley against us he spent a long time getting back to is old form about 3 years .In that time he was bought by Norwich but was loaned out to Bolton then Palace but to no avail 'He was then bought by Boro who swapped him for Adam Clayton plus £1.6m to Town
At town he started to show how good he was and was snapped up by Derby for £4m and last night scored 2 good gaols at Hull pleased flor the lad I hope it inspires not only Bridcutt but Will Buckley as well

 

Great post. Well put Mike. Exactly what I've been saying. This is exactly the type of spending and more we will need to figure in top two. Add the 1m a year they are paying for a top manager. Also, you can bet, those players you mentioned they bought for 4 and 6m are on at least 20k a week rather than the pennies our lot offer. Bit you've nailed it, that's the budget our owners need to meet and fans need to stop being deluded thinking borrowing the likes of Buckley or Bridcutt, Stewart or Kebe is going to make one hat of a difference.

 

From what I have read about Bridcutt we may have a winner and I hope the price has been agreed already I have good feelings about this boy!

 

Hopefully he is but you're point requiring large investment is spot on
