I'd probably play Mbabu or Lascelles at LB and play Dummett in the centre in place of Colo. Haidara offers nothing anyway so wont be missed. People say he's good going forward but he just isn't. He's produces nowt and gives the ball away as soon as he crosses the half way line.
Now come on I'd never wish injury on the lad. It is however great that we won't have to suffer his incompetence. We still have to suffer the equal incompetence of Dummett however. Sign a left back FFS
He's better than dummet mate by a considerable margin, however both aren't anywhere near good enough.
As a CB clogger in the Williamson mold. Haidara has never ever played as badly as Dummett did vs Leicester. Unfortunately, we aren't making fair comparisons because Dummett isn't a left-back. I'd say both aren't of sufficient talent to make it in the premier league.
I'd agree that Dummett is a CB and not a LB. I still think he'd make a decent squad player as cover at CB - but you're right, he's no LB and we desperately need one!
You say that like we have a choice. In this world some are born to greatness and others are born into poverty and suffering. Nothing we can do about it. It's a bit like when you tried persuading me to change my sexuality. You can stick it up there but you can't force me to enjoy it.
