    I'd try and get long and mane linking up with their movement like at Chelsea last season.

    Can't see us getting anything in all honesty l, Silva makes them tick and is a wonderful footballer.

    Don't fancy this much now they have Silva orchestrating things. However, we have proved to be a useful unit away, and like City, we will want to put on a good performance after last weeks lower than usual standards.

    I'm really looking forward to seeing how we play without Pelle. If any of our forwards have an ounce of "I'll show ya boss" about them, I think we could see a surprise today. I guess Long's the favourite to start there but I'd be inclined to give Mane a pop.

    Ron is just brilliant. I loved his response to the question of Shane Long getting dropped again when Pellè is available: "Ask me again after Saturday when he is the hero of the game". A great bit of motivational psychology.

    I'd like to see Long up top and Mane just behind. Perhaps Ward-Prowse in for Dusan to give us a solid base and allow those two to work the channels and try and stretch City.

    Be interesting what the formation will be. Mane and Long through the middle together, with a midfield diamond? One of them through the middle, one down the left, JWP or Davis down the right, with the other central just in front of Vic and Romeu? Three CBs, with either Davis or JWP playing right ring back?
