I think Derby have been average. We have gifted them two goals with school boy defending. Yet again we are passing backwards rather than forwards and losing the attacking impetus. It's like a training game - no players moving to receive the ball. Just the basics. The wind may have had a hand.
Beagrie and Higginbotham were spot on with the analysis, balance of midfield wrong letting Derby by-pass us. Be interesting to see how Bruce changes it
You're delusional. There's a few people who think you're wrong. Pissed? Bless ya. I bet it's all Hudds fault you're so precious?
He was key to the five game winning run, pasty face is wrong as usual. The Match Day thread pretty poor tonight got to be said
If you weren't half-cut you might analyse the game better and not talk bollocks trying to impress your mate Mr Hat
Hudds isn't the worse player on the pitch but he is still not good enough to command a central role; he seems aimless and is simply being used as a training game tap back, nothing else. He's not threading passes, he's not taking shots (proper shots, that is), he is ****e on deadballs and a waste of a player. But he's the Skipper, so that's okay then. Elmo was getting too far forward and couldn't retrieve position to defend properly against the first goal. Bruce's tactics are ****, really ****.
He's gone back to Plan A with Huddz which wasn't working the first time, not sure whats happened to Hayden
Heres a point - Livermore first half, lots of short sideways and backwards passing, just keeping the ball, two adventurous passes ****ed them both up. Huddlestone - some sideways and backwards passes yes every psd can't go forwards, but a few very good forward balls to quickly launch attacks. They'll all be on later how Huddlestone slows us down and bla bla bla, all the usual tired cliches. They'll also give the Maguire too slow, well he just beat Weimann to the ball from a very similar distance.
At last some sense, Maguire isn't too slow at all. The mistake you are making is not taking into the account the effect Huddlestone has on our tempo when he starts, inferior opposition like Bristol can bypass our midfield because of it with less possession, Derby you could half expect it
Huddlestones passes have started nearly all our meaningful attacks. As for shots, well he had one of our colossal two shots on target so far and let's be honest it was a ****ing good effort from half a mile out.
Whats the point of him passing like Zidane from deep areas Bruce needs to get him up the park, it's not rocket science
could say same about davies clean sheet in 5 games.. comes back in and 3 goals conceded in less than 2 games it's a team
