Klopp on Sturridge: "It's not serious but it's not possible for him to go on as before."

Klopp: "You have to learn what is serious pain and what is only pain. Everyone wants to see Daniel back on the pitch."

Klopp on Henderson: "He wants to play but we have to wait. We'll see every day how he adapts to the intensity of the previous day."

Klopp: "I don't know in this moment whether Christian is able to play two games in three days."

Klopp on Lucas: "I hope he's not a big miss. I like players like this. He's improved since we've been here. He has really good personality

Klopp "Henderson is always (knocking) on the door, wanting to play. But he needs to be perfect physically. When in that shape we can use him

Translation: it's not possible for Sturridge to play because he'll injure something else.

    Sturridge is a crybaby.

We're doing great without him. Why rock the boat?

I played Benteke against Bordeaux so I'd have an excuse to not include him against Swansea.

He's a bit ugly. Bit of a minger. 6 beers minimum.

Hendo is getting on my nerves he's a big whiner.

Movement and pressure against Swansea so I agree no Benteke, the Swans are in panic mode and are launching balls we need to get at them and be aggressive.

What we need is raw pace, skill and movement - perfect game for Benteke. :)

To be fair if they frustrate and hold a good line then I'd want the big fella on to cause problems but to start with at least I'd bench him.

What do you lot reckon the score will be? I'll be very surprised if you don't put at least 3 goals past us.

He picked up his fifth yellow last week. Hopefully our number 2 will be going. Fingers crossed he'll take Monk with him too <laugh>

He's in Qatar by all accounts tying up a £3.5 million deal to manage out there.

So looks like Firmino will be up front again.

My thinking is that Klopp sees this guy as an out and out striker who can drop back and wants to use him that way, rather than as an attacking forward who contributes with goals. Privately he probably thinks that Firmino will need some conversion and time to adapt to the role but it's preferable to give him that rather than go out and look for alternatives. Especially in Jan when the best players never move and you have to pay a premium for those and average ones. It's also more in line with the FSG philosophy of working with what there is already.

Still think we should sell Mr Quaver and Kloppos comments ain't exactly glowing. More like condemnation.
