A hell of a lot goes on behind the scenes that us mere mortals dont get to know about Whose to say a replacement isnt already picked and approached for your lot
Is this true like? Could be your excuse to get shot of him. You know if McClaren is kicking off he's losing the plot.
To be honest, if this is true then I think it's the best thing McClaren has done all season. It's what is needed and what has been needed for a long time. I think quite a few players could get a shock as it is unlikely to be McClaren leaving over this. One or two players may have burned their bridges though. It can't have been all that serious though if it happened on Monday and didn't get reported till Thursday.
It was pretty serious apparently. It was reported on Monday but not widely. Sissoko is supposed to have stormed off after training.
He can take a few others with him as far as I am concerned!! I don't have a problem with this happening - either from the players' or manager's point of view. What I would have an issue with is if they stayed in a sulk and didn't respond. Let's see if they can get some fire in their bellies or if they are as gutless as many have accused them of being. If it is the latter then we are better off without them.
I don't know how Colo could have a defence if the manager was calling him out for his performances. He was nowhere to be seen for all three of the Leicester goals last week. Funny how it was Colo, Sissoko and Tiote mentioned in the bust up. The 3 mercenaries who the club has needed shot of for a long time now. I hope the damage is irreversible and all three are dropped immediately and sold in January.
I don't think there's any doubt we have too many poor players and too many underperforming, however they all look utterly miserable in training and on the pitch and that in my opinion is down to the boring characterless idiot in mclaren. He has to go immediately in my opinion but he we will wait until we lose the next 4 games probably.
There are rumours [and they are just that] saying that McClaren has told Charnley that he wants Colo, Sissoko, Tiote and Cisse shipped out in January. He believes that they are having a negative influence in the dressing room and are hindering team morale and performances.
He obviously acts like alex ferguson, however the problem is he isn't alex Ferguson and players are happy to leave and good players are harder to attract than at man united. I'm utterly convinced he's going to get us relegated. No swearing rules, suit and tie etc i mean he's a ****ing idiot basically. Fun steve they should be encouraged to have fun
Regardless of what anyone thinks of McClaren - and at best the jury is still out - on this matter he has my full support. It's about time our players stood up to be counted. Some of them have let us down far too often and it is about time someone challenged their cosy little existence. It should have happened a long time ago. The club is bigger than any player or group of players.
I understand what you're saying, however if I was cisse id feel upset losing my place to a player that has done nothing to warrant it. Colo isn't known for having attitude problems and tiote is better than the pathetic anita. I'm convinced mclaren is a vegetable my good friend.
I'm all for Schteve having a pop at them. I know if my guys (link in the sig) had played like that last Saturday I'd have not let them home for their dinner after the game. If there are specific members at the club causing issues, force them out - doesn't matter how good they are, if they are disrupting the team morale we can't get shot of them quick enough. None of the players at the club are "world beaters" I had a lad join my club this summer, was far to good for the level we are at - more like semi pro level (which we are aiming for) but his attitude was the worst. We had a situation in preseason where he picked the ball up just inside our box early in the game, tried to take two players on and lost the ball which led to an easy shot at goal (the opposition missed). My keeper, a 6'4 heavy set metal-head monster, told him in no uncertain terms exactly what he thought and the guy stropped off the field threw his shirt on the floor, sat down, sparked a cig and then argued with the club captain at half time about storming off in the first 5 mins. Told him to take a hike after the game and not bother contacting me again. Now we are currently on a 7 game win streak so was obviously not irreplaceable although he would have been one of our best technical players this year without question.
Agree don't think you can pin it all on McClaren, I said in another post nearly everyone working for the club need to take responsibility from Ashley, Charnley, Carr, McClaren down to the players. No one is doing well enough! I did also say I'd get rid of McClaren if results don't pick up in the next few games and I'd stick by that as he may well have lost the dressing room this week. Have to wait and see I guess, which we don't really have time for...
Simply getting all disciplinarian is poor management. A good manager learns to understand individuals and manages them appropriately and creates a happy group. A happy group gets results in any environment. Basically the term management means just that and not just thinking it's about wielding a stick. Mclaren is a terrible man manager, a useless tactician, has zero personalilty and a history of failure. End of I'll be right, however that is my final say on the subject. In around 4 weeks those that don't agree now will have accepted this.
Actually I've changed my mind!!! Let's not forget the idiot only came after we stayed up and was sacked due to a spectacular failure at Derby County. His coaching staff are all totally useless also im afraid. Time?? Ahhh that old chestnut It's all bullshit How much time did Ranieri require, flores at Watford, pardew at Palace???? This time crap was invented by who??? Failed managers and basically the jobs for the boys society in football.
