Marcus Buckley just hasn't happened ,I write when we got him he his a confidence player awesome when on song but needs a manager who can put an arm round him and tell him how good he is .Unfortunately it hasn't worked but it will at some other club because he has the talent. #Why waste anymore loan money when he won't get a game.I think the hold up with Bridcutt may have been because Leeds wanted Buckley out and this would free up extra money I would have liked Wilson from M.U. but he has done to Brighton meanwhile Town got Steer from Villa a good keeper by all accounts leaving us on a wing and a prayer
Hi Mike I don't think any of that assessment is far off the mark. My original point was, other than helping to stabilize us short term, what do we really gain out of picking up a player like Bridcutt now? Then, in answer to Eire's post, I argued that players off this calibre are actually available on Season long loans and we would have much more chance of them working if we integrated players at the start of the summer not at the end of the loan window in November. I know you support Cellino and I try to be open minded and the try before you buy sounds great except that the only option I can think of Cellino taking up is the (almost certainly free) Bamber. None of the young players taken on this basis (Adryan, Del Fabro, Benedicic or Montenegro) were kept on (not saying they deserved to be) but people like Doukarra just got given a two year deal and, for me, he is one of the worst players we have ever had. So, my biggest point was really, this is all scattergun and random and will almost certainly never work. Anyway, here is to a nice 4-0 away win tomorrow, that will brighten things up

I guess its down to attitude. Maybe Buckley didnt want to be here and wasnt fit. I'm hoping Bridcutt has kept himself in good nick and wants to play football. I think this one will work out, but I rated Kebe before he came to us!

Well I think if Bridcutt is as good as Brighton fans are saying we will be able to buy him in May I think a fee of !m would be about right .This fee was agreed for Adeyemi as well so we will wait and see The other players you mentioned along with Cani were not up to the plate and were quite rightly sent back .Doukara is probably the laziest player along with Wootton in the squad Doukara big as he is can't head a ball unbelievable! I hope we win tomorrow and Bridcutt plays a big part Lets hope Wootton along with Mowatt and Murphy are dropped.I asm so pleased that Cooper is doing so well as I have compared him to PAUL MADELEY
