The part in bold is correct

If you are travelling at half the speed of light, and the light looks like it's moving away from you at the speed of light, then to someone watching you the light would appear to be travelling at 1.5x the speed of light

The point of relativisitc effects is to make sure this doesn't happen and maintain the physical principle that the speed of light in a vacuum is a constant and no information can travel faster than the speed of light

If you don't believe in gravity being able to bend light then how do you explain observations of gravitational lensing? More #fraud?

    Green "may" be harmful.

Its' definitely harmful ffs<doh> @astro(Klopp's footbo)naut you dolt

So is too much booze, too much coffee, too much sugar, too much pigeon, the key is too much, these things are not like Mercury where any amount if toxic.

Drinking more than 3 or 4 cups of tea a day is meant to be toxic? <laugh>

Massive levels of fail from you

I posted the specific numbers quantifying the damage it can do

You keep banging on with yet another post about how headlines are written

You do not argue like someone who is interested in science, you argue like an annoyed hack because he is beinbg schooled by someone witjh no science degree.

There is your fall down in understanding what I am talking about, IT DOESNT MATTER IF SOMEONE ELSE IS WATCHING IT CHANGES NOTING <laugh>

You are turnng perception into physical reality, exactly what I previously said, which you ignored

Now actually read carefully, you only noted my sentence you put in bold because you could not tackle the rest of it, and you know that damn well. Reply to a post, not little cherry picked bits, I would not trust your integrity if you did a study, you are certainly a candidate for hiding inconvenient truths. I am pretty certain you are not a scientist. You don't behave like someone who looks for truth <laugh>

Sorry for shouting, this is not philosophy.

I have proven in this thread that Gravitational lensing and light scattering does not happen with the stars orbiting the super massive black hole in the centre of the milky way. This 15 year NASA study showed that there was no light scattering as stars passed in close orbit and AND a cloud of hydrogen gas passed it too without being consumed

When you move at 2\3rds the speed of light (no one else is relevant) all that is relevant is your direction of travel and the direction the laser is focused.

Your trajectory and speed and the light's trajectory and speed create the "effect" of light bending, light is quantised packets not strings, if a river feeds to a waterfall is the water bending? Does water bend? <doh>

I'm not talking about your "proof for when lensing doesn't happen"

I'm talking about when it does happen, what is causing that? Some new physical processs you should get credit for, or faked data from another #conspiracy?

I'm making proper posts and you are one line two lining it with rubbish astro. You want to shut me up with your silly game, it's failed repeatedly, why not just give it up and talk the science without being a a complete douchebag, do you feel threatened?

All you have to do to silence me is drag out some mathematics after all, do that and I'm stumped

Sadly, much of what I am saying are my own ideas here, I may be wrong, totally wrong or partially right who knows.

What I dont get is that if I have a different opinion, which I can articulate and argue, how is it "fraud and "conspiracy" @astro(Klopp's footbo)naut

I beleive that is how the witch burners carried it back in the day<laugh>

Discussing other ideas, right or wrong is not a bad thing Astro, yet you react like, I dunno, do you not see how ridiculous you are here? You the "educated" one.

This should really piss you off @astro(Klopp's footbo)naut :bandit:
    Another crazy idea of mine

If you were to stop, be truly stationary, you would cease to exist because the laws of physics require movement and interaction, you become the sum of all that empty space in your atoms

There is nothing in this universe that is not in motion
    #conspiracy

thing is you have no idea if I am or not. That would make your opinion about as relevant as my opinion on giving birth

    Hilarious?

    2015 version: Fig.A.txt
    2001 version : FigA.txt

Now one could argue that yeah, we could agree of the .2 degrees difference in 2000. That's within the margin of error for modern systems. It can happen.

But.. .4 degrees of this .6 degrees difference, is cooked up by making this 1880s half a degree c colder.
And what is the divergence between measurement raw data vs. remodeled data? .4 degrees CRU data says .7c degrees and Met Office claimed 1.1c since 1880.

The .4c discrepancy between raw and remodeled data is the .4 degrees that 1880 was cooled by, between 2001 and 2015.
There is the difference between actual warming and fiddling data.

all the fear mongering is based on suspicious cooling of 1880, .7c ok 1.1c baaaaad. All in time For Paris Cop21

Not necessarily. If there's no damage atm then he significantly reduces his risk of heart disease and stroke by quitting.

If it hasn't happened in the last 20 years how could it possibly happen in the future

He should do it more, the results are not correct and are only used to backup sensationalist headline writers
