Coe is dirty as ****. Proper got his fingers in all kinds of seedy pies, but do we hear the furore that Blatter and Platini gets?
The same kind of "facts" we had about Blatter and Platini for many years? I'm pretty sure nothing has been proven there yet....
The BBC definitely said he was standing down as a chairman of the British Olympic Association after Rio... Dan Roan @danroan Coe also says his company CSM will not do any work connected to IAAF & he will step down as BOA chairman after Rio 2016.
Whats Peter Elliot doing these days, he was a proper Yorkshire hero, maybe he will catch Coe in the end after all these years! It wouldn't surprise me if Coe is as dirty as the rest of them they all seem corrupt but I suppose Fez is right, innocent till proven guilty.
Ahh course, it doesn't matter about proof with them - the foreigners are guilty but the nice middle class Brit gets the benefit....
It's got **** all to do with where they come from, it's just down what's in the public domain. Terrible assumption. Racist.
If a foreigner was in charge of the IAAF and on the IOC and had done precisely what Coe has the British media and public would be all over them to quit. FACT. And we're not talking about what's in the public domain - we're talking about innocent until proven guilty. Why does it apply to one and not the other?
Neither have denied the €1.3M payment that is considered to be corrupt, or have I missed something? I'm discussing Coe, but I have offered you that rather large bit of evidence against Blather and Platini.
Yep, next year and anything can happen in the meantime, but I thought we were discussing now and Nike is the only immediate action.
I agree that media frenzy does occasionally (sic) get carried away, but I'm only aware of them being suspended from their paid employment until such time as an investigation concludes and a verdict is reached - that would be the same in most reasonable employed posts. Of course, there are on going criminal investigations, but that is a different matter, isn't it.
