His front doorway arch is made out of recycled ladders and he crashed his car into a mirror factory.

Serious note Question. Do you think we are going to be qualified in the group with a game to spare if Brendan Rodgers is still the manager?.

No standout performers for me - Thought Ibe, Allen and Toure were tidy.

Firmino never really got into the game and gave the ball away a lot. Benteke was awful and his lack of intelligence and movement is painfully evident.

Glad to side us able to come from a goal behind again, hopefully it won't be a regular occurrence!

But another win, top of the group, qualify for the next round and rested some players. Good times.

  6. No mention of either goalscorer or Lovren <whistle>

  7. We wouldn't have qualified yet without Brods points

    Great goal by Benteke.

    Milner was good defensively.

    Lovren is decent.

How many points did Rodgers get? 3 points from 3 games?

He made some good runs and was very close to a couple more goals from running in behind.

  11. And if we didn't get those three points under Brod we'd be on 6pts now with three other twos having two more points than they currently have <whistle>

    PS...note the word "yet" ;)

At least Benteke scored a very good goal (which is his job like.....)

Whereas Firmino was absolute rot last night.

Sometimes the end result is more important the performance not that I think Benteke was bad last night.

This contradicts what I just posted on the Utd board though. :)

....yet he still looked like Heskey on acid <whistle> I'm with Jimmy on this one....I'm yet to be convinced that he's the answer other than as a good squad/bench option. At least he shows up though, unlike our other striker.

Benteke got a mention... Not a positive one though.

  16. I wouldn't say Firmino was "rot", he had tidy footwork and got through some sticky situations whilst maintaining possession. However, his passing was off so he did give the ball away a few times. He's definitely not a natural scorer either <laugh>

I only watched parts of it in fairness, but what I did see was him giving the ball away virtually every time he had it!

Odd player, looked good at City and then poor last night, inconsistent by the looks of him. Probably why Bayern or Dortmund never hoovered him up like.......<whistle>

  18. He's definitely got it in him to be a quality player imo, its just not quite happening for him atm

He's always been a 1 in 2 striker and wth us he's continuining that. At the moment he might not quite fit our style but he's only had 10 games to try fit in, and in that time we've changed managers as well.

I thibk ink if he can continue scoring at 1 in 2 for the rest of the season while 'playing badly' then can't complain too much.

He's got a whiff of Mirallas about him from what I've seen of him. Moments of brilliance surrounded by patches of total meh.
