You've completely missed the point .It is totally relevant. If ANY player acts in such an unprofessional manner they should be dealt with accordingly. The point is that it's always Bullard who plays up and acts the pissed up clown.Real pro's like Fryatt and Rosenior wouldn't disrespect the management, their team mate or fans by carrying on like Bullard does.
Just a point on Rosenior, last summer he turned down 2 far more lucrative deals - one at one of the biggest clubs in the country and the other a now PL club - because he wanted to come here to play more football than he thought he'd get at the other clubs. I think that perfectly sums up the difference we're talking about here.
Erm, what are Bullard's other misdemeanours? He's always being runmoured to have been seen getting wasted and what have you, which comes with being the most high-profile player in the team, but what else has he actually ever been warned or punished for? Nothing at all? It's all rumours, until this. So a first warning seems appropriate to me. Do people really want a repeat of last year's home form that badly?
Why are you sticking up for him? Im genuinley interested when all he has ever done is show contempt to you and me.
GREAT EXAMPLE TO THE FEW WHO STILL BULLARD IS GOOD LITTLE BOY. I best those same people still think there is a Santa Claus and the moon is made out of cheese. Wake up. Smell the coffee. I hear that this matter is now with The Allams directly. Sportstalk should be fun tonight. As for Bullard, 90% of whats been said is true. If it wasn't then JB would being suing one and all a long time ago. Yes he hates Hull City and everything that goes with it. His last act has even left the PFA stunned by his stupidity. To'ssed back the olive branch given to him. He deserves to end up like Gazza. JB is a waster full stop. My guess is now that club lawyers are sifting through all the written warnings and evidence and a P45 and letter of contract termination could well be issued very soon. SEE YOU IN COURT JIMMY BOY. +++++++++++++++++++++++
So do i. But not that badly. Rather do it with players who actually care about Hull City AFC as a club and its fans.
I don't think he's a 'good boy' or whatever, but nor do I believe he "Hates Hull City". That's just being silly. He didn't want to get injured, in fact he was in tears when he got injured at Villa but no one wants to talk about that because the uniform opinion is that he is the devil on Earth and this is what we will all believe. Anyone who opines differently is stupid. Do people really believe that he hates us and really believe that he wants to be injured all the time and not playing for various reasons?
Erm by this do you mean A good little boy? Or are you meaning to say "GREAT EXAMPLE TO THE FEW WHO STILL THINK BULLARD IS GOOD (playing wise), LITTLE BOY (calling him a little boy?) I'm confused. By no means is Bullard no angel. In fact I can imagine that his off the pitch antics have landed him in hot water several times but with nothing being reported. This is probably the first time that anything has officially been announced. And we all know he's a very talented player. He's just a twat who thinks that he can act hugely unprofessional and still justify his stupidly high wage despite doing very little on the pitch.
It was a cynical way of saying the same thing. Yes a Good Example and proper professional to be precise. Thats one thing that Bullard aint and will never be.
I'm not sure what stage we're up to in this debate now. We all agree that he isn't perfect, and we all agree that he is our best player and we need him, especially with OLM's snippet from the other day that he won't be replaced if he did go. So surely the solution is to do what NP has done and punish him and leave it at that, get him back on the pitch for the end of preseason and he can start against Blackpool. Hooray.
I have no problem with him being fined but the HDM article states he is told to stay away. If true it is ridiculous and self defeating. We need Bullard. We were after Danns, so NP obviously saw we needed a creative midfield player in the middle of the park. No more signings apparently, so we are still lacking where we need it the most.
He's been told to stay away from the training ground, so he won't be training at all. The question is not will he be in the squad to face Blackpool, it looks almost certain that he won't be, a more pertinent question would be, will we ever see him in a City shirt again?
That's what I was getting at: If he's not just suspended, but "told to stay away", it looks like he's pissed away his last chance. It's really a tragedy.
Yes. My hope is that we never see Bullard anywhere near Hull City again. JB has just lost his final lifeLine as far as i am concerned. If the club get rid and get his wages stopped that free's up 45k a week. Why not ask Man City about Michael Johnson ? Yes he has had injuries, but i am sure that MJ would want a chance to prove his worth and maybe get a move in jan. Worth a shout. As for ability, MJ is on a par at least with Bullard.
No. Just because everyone hates Bullard doesn't mean he has to be **** now. Does anyone remember how destructive he was in Nov 09? No one player should have that great an impact on the team but he does, he's far too good for this division.
