All I can say is great goals [by all] and we're through. Wasn't expecting a continuation of the city game but wasn't expecting that performance either.
Not really Benteke's fault. Its more down to the fact our players aren't good enough to create chances against teams that sit deep in numbers. That's been a problem for years, you can't really lay the blame at Benteke's feet for that particular flaw in our squad.
he just doesn't fit into the team, he has quality no doubt about that just his style of play is all wrong for the rest of the team. Not saying its benteke's fault as clearly he really does his best more the fault of our buying policy in last couple of years;
Some words were also had on Facebook. Here's some of the ones that don't include swearing or the phrase 'FFS'. Darren Buckley: Embarrassing. His mentality is a disgrace. Luis Suarez would have played with a broken leg. Andy Lloyd: NEWSFLASH!! Sturridge has dissolved!! Alan Richardson: He'd be in a tin of chappie if he was a racehorse. Barry Durrans: Time to try and let him go, I'm afraid. 12 games in 12 months due to injury isn't what we can cope with. Kev Patterson: Twisted sock, he will be out until after Christmas. He will be able to spend Christmas with his family while he is counting his £120000 a week poor lad! Brian Roberts: Just sell him in January. Roy Jones: Get rid, sorry. Paul Hudson: He should not be paid. I don't think he's injured. It's his mentality. He has no respect for this club or the fans. If he's having serious mental issues then get them sorted. It seems to me he cries off with the slightest thing. I could be wrong. please log in to view this image This is where Daniel Sturridge has spent much of the last 18 months Ivaylo Chaprazov: Baffling! Can't blame the lad, it's not his fault that his body lets him down constantly. So frustrating for us the fans because we all have seen him play and know that he's world class. Aben Dean: Sell this glasshouse. Per-Arild Davidsen: Get rid. He's mentally not ready to play. Graham Matthews: Time to go. Brilliant player when he's fit but he's never fit! Bill Abdale: Much too fragile. Time to move on. Denver DP Jacobs: Wrap him up in bubble wrap. Mario Gerrard: I'm sorry to say but I think it's time Liverpool parted ways with Sturridge. Either that or make him sign a new contract that will make his weekly wages according to his fitness. Paying him over £120,000 a week for being injured is NOT affordable! Arron Milson: It's a great shame, the lad is a great footballer and has a natural instinct but unfortunately he seems to be made of glass. please log in to view this image When he isn't injured, Daniel Sturridge can be spotted doing this - scoring for Liverpool, this one against Aston Villa in September Conor Brady: It's a joke. The man is made of plastic. I'd sell him tomorrow but sure no one would take him as he's a more injury prone as Andy Carroll. Alan Bingham: Sturridge may as well retire, by the time he's fit he'll be too old anyway! Daniel Latincic: He might have injured himself on the bench last game. Kevin Tames: He got injured fixing his boot laces. Kenny Martin: He's made of salt and vinegar squares lad. Luke Reed: He is made of crisps. Akis Sarigiannis: A Greek quote says "either the sea is crooked, or we are sailing crooked". Check the medical staff, something went wrong, I don't believe it's Daniel's problem. Adam Khan: At least he's consistent. Thomas Fjell: Sell.
Still wouldn't sell him. He's got undoubted quality and I'd hate to see him move somewhere else and pick up a good run of games. I think his contract needs looking at though, not that he'd appreciate that. He can't be on such ridiculous wages but never playing.
Yeah thats great. He could really be injured again Your post before this one (off FB FFS) is moronic. Lets see what the DR says before jumping on bandwagons
