Chelsea parking the bus would be interesting, since it would neutralize our pressing game (no point pressing a team that sits in its own third for most of the game, like Mourhino's Chelsea). I'm hoping that Chelsea will try to play football, like Arsenal did, so we can rip them a new arsehole (like we did against Arsehole-nal).
Love the way you celebrate a draw like a win, speaks volumes about the gap between our clubs. It's not the first time you've celebrated draws like they are wins either is it HIAG ? Your invincibles thread had you claiming Spurs had won 12 on the bounce when in fact 6 of those were draws. And then you went and EDITED it
I think he's talking about the way that Spurs utterly outclassed Arsenal for 90% of the game, rather than the result. It was certainly you lot celebrating nicking a draw after that one.
i was at the game were you ? Arsenal should have had all 3 points, in the end Spurs were hanging on and trying to waste time to get the game over
You must've been at the wrong game, frankly. Completely outplayed until right at the death, when you started chucking hopeful balls into the box from deep positions, like an Allardyce or Pulis side. Arsene Wenger wanted his coat to swallow him up. Again.
Not really, we probably should have nicked all 3 points at the end as you were clearly hanging on for a point. Still hasn't stopped HIAG from celebrating another draw like it's a win though, he's making a habit of that these days
Arsenal revisionists. Absolutely ridiculous. Thierry Henry said that we dominated, but a couple of weeks pass by and you've blocked it out and replaced the bad memories with something else.
I'm not contesting that, I'm saying that by the end you were hanging on for a point and we could have nicked all 3. Hasn't stopped some of your lot celebrating it like a win though
PNP, what you have to understand is that PIXIE lives in a fairy wonderland, where everything is viewed from the perspective of Wenger's rose-tinted spectacles. I call it PIXIE World.
You think so? You'd think we were thrashed by the mood on our board straight after, we knew we'd missed a great opportunity to win away. In retrospect we celebrate the performance, but not the result.
I apologise for lumping HIAG in with the rest of you, I know he's an embarrassment to the ordinary Spurs fan.
It was a 'victory' of sorts. We ran you ragged for the vast majority of the game. We haven't dominated an Arsenal side like that for ages...
Nice try, PIXIE, but most of the decent posters, here, are already bored with your comments on this thread, and your use of your usual "broken record" policy. For what it's worth, I think most of us Spurs fans were disappointed that we didn't win, because we're all eager to climb above you in the table as soon as possible. Those two points would have brought the time-table forward slightly. It's no major shakes, and most of us are over the disappointment, now.
I have posed the following question to my Spurs friends and would welcome your view : if the only way Spurs could get into CL was for Arsenal to win the PL would you take it.
