Not sure Neymar would fit in the PL that well either. He's a brilliant player but he's a bit lightweight. Reminds me (although a better player) of Robinho.

You can't pretend to know my mind. He is one of the few players I wouldnt want at this club. Talented but low life without an ounce of integrity. Only the likes of the RS would worship him like they did. <ok>

Neymar is the best player in the world on current form, and if anyone in that Barca side deserves the Ballon Do'r then it's Neymar and not Messi. Messi is still obviously a great player but im not convinced he is quite as great as he was. The 2012 Messi was another 15-20% better than the one we see these days. Barcelona used to rely completely on Messi, but these days they can go to the Bernabeau and thrash Real Madrid before Messi even comes on the pitch.

This is why we have no chance of getting Neymar, as Neymar is beginning to be looked upon as the new top player at Barca, and the man who will carry them for the next 5 years or so. Messi's peak has been and gone, so if any Barca star will come to the PL then it will be Messi, there is no way they'll let Neymar go with his peak years infront of him.

As for Neymar not cutting it in the PL due to the physical demands, this is a complete load of nonsense that the media like to force feed to the usual sheep. But the actual reality is that the PL is of a much lower standard than the level Neymar currently plays at, so Neymar would more than likely look even better if he played for us:biggrin:

A classic example of an opinion stated as fact.

Yeah we used to be so dominant in Europe during that period, not one of the players we had on show last night would get in that team

Not exactly true. The tie after that game we were handed our backsides on a play by Kaka et al. We had Alan Smith in midfield. The Roma game was one of those nights where everything came off. Fcking great to see ofcourse.

We had Scholes and Carrick in midfield in 06/07 from what I remember, unless there where injury's then I wouldn't have thought Smith would get a game.

Admittedly we still weren't the finished article that year despite winning the league, but we came good the following year in Europe:biggrin:

Bale has done nothing of note this season. And that's on the back of scrappy season last year. I wouldn't pay 50m for him. 40 at best! If we could get Bale for 40, then I would take him over Ronaldo because of his age.
