Utd fans are tearing lumps out of their team and manager on 5 live.

'Most boring football ever. Even when we got relegated we still played attacking football'

    Damning !

A fair point A87, but don't forget Van Gaal will be gone in 18 months anyway. We'll be looking at a new manager then anyway. I'm a big fan of Ancelotti but he'll be short term as well and I'd rather it was given to someone who can build something long term. I think Giggs needs to be seriously considered although there are a few others around Europe (not big names but on the cusp of greatness imo)

So now it is VG in? Make your mind up. You are worse than Wenger in Wenger Out. Shake it all about

Giggs is a risk, more often than not, legendary players who come to manage, especially when they're still young managers getting started, don't always end well. I think you guys need to stick it out with LVG until his contract is up, it also sends a message to other established managers like Anchelotti, that the club will stick by and support you, United don't want to start looking like Chelski and get a reputation for sacking managers.

    Good shout <ok>

Regarding Giggs, I think he is taking what he wants from working with Van Gaal in terms of managerial experience e.g. coaching players, possession football and tactical play that he will want to take forward. He'll ditch the rest and adapt it to the attacking style of football I'm sure he believes in. I agree having an ex-player is usually a recipe for disaster but I think he might just have all the ingredients to garner player respect and a bit of stature and footballing intelligence to do the job.

I think Giggs would be a massive risk. He's got very little experience, and a big club like Utd needs a steady hand with an experienced head.

I think Giggs was a great player but IMO he is thick as ****, and United will really hit the skids with him making all the decisions
they would be better off with Neville !

either one would be better than Giggs

Very random CFC. You could be right though. I'll keep my fingers crossed Mourinho is out soon, so you can achieve something.
