There was a story from a Fulham v Blackpool game, a young guy was making his debut for Blackpool and had to mark Best. He recalls that Best just stood around hardly getting a touch, When he went in at half time Blackpool winning 2-0 his manager said great you haven't let Best into the game keep it up. As he was coming out for the 2nd half, Best turned to him and said sorry son I've just had a bollocking about not doing anything, so in the second half he tore the youngster apart and made to 2 goals, before turning to the youngster saying he think he'd done enough now to get in the managers good books so would ease off.
