I think that everyone is entitled to his opinion. However I cannot believe that anyone would buy this club on the valuations provided by Leeds 60, perhaps about 10% of that. If the teaam is worth close on £33 mil why are we closing in on relegation. On a slightly different theme I started watching Leeds befor the Don took over and enjoyed the ride that he and the best set of players ever to set foot on Elland Road gave me. I do not think that any thing like it will ever return,I am lucky I was there. I could proberly go on but would only suceed in boring every one, and then would have Glory jumping down my throat. Can i go back to sleep now
I am offended old dog. I would love to hear any memories of the good old days. I was only a kid but was at Wembley in 72 And 73 unfortunately. My old man took me home and away in 74. Most of it passed me by as I thought that's how it always was. I haven't been encouraging you to post with the intention of pissing you off. It's even cost me a beer so can't say fairer than that. Lee let me know when your at a game and that beer is yours
More than envious that you saw the great Leeds team and as you say it's unlikely to happen again. Even Citeh with that huge investment have been hit and miss. Taking £33m and debts, a good Euromillions rollover win would secure the purchase. The odds of winning and a takeover by a multi-billionaire are about the same. This maybe leaves just Red-Bull or a multi-faceted consortium. Good to see you post, you can rest up again. And its nice of you to encourage Glory to get me a beer!!
No probs. If you are at a game I will happily buy you a beer or even two. Contrary to some reports I have a heart of gold.
I'm sure he will. I'll get you one in when next up there and you can tell us all about the great Leeds team.
