[QUOTE="haslam, post: 8621829, member: 1014811 Spent a couple of New years in the Brown trout though (can't be certain which years but it will have been between '04 and '07. I had no idea it had closed down, we used to mostly be on the pool table - preferred it to the Travellers (though that wasn't a terrible pub by any means). Next you'll be telling the "the Godfather" pizzeria is no longer there!![/QUOTE] Travellers is a **** hole compared to what it used to be.... Most lads drink in Cockerton club nowadays.
Putting this on the busiest thread, I thought it was cool. Copy and paste the following and paste it into the google search bar... a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away
No, I hate Star Wars/Trek whichever it is, I just thought some people might like it. I like **** like that, on google, there's a few other things you can do too.
I'm running the buskers/open mic tonight in the Ship Isis Sunderland - great pub, huge beer selection - and a free pint if you want to play a tune
This is going to become my local watering hole, and as its my own brewery and pub I guess I will drink for free lol. Anyone ever in the Edmonton area in Canada then come drop in.
Gonna have to cancel my flights to Aussie's awesome views pub and head off to Canada. Horden's got a brewery!!!
There used to be a fella on here who owned a pub in wales (swansea or cardiff). **** if i can remember his name. Some people are cut out for it. I dont include myself in that.
Like I said fellas, everyone would be more than welcome. Comm, it's a micro brewery where the brewery is on one side of the pub. We have 5 different beer recipes, IPA, Belgian Wit, ESB, Stout and a Pilsner. Been working our arses off on the inside and hope to officially open Dec 5, depending on licenses.
You know what mate. You make my day with posts like this. I wish you all the luck. And i really mean that. Brilliant just ****ing brilliant. This is the stuff i like to hear.
