Perfectly natural thing to occur, it helps trees regenerate in certain parts of the world, like a snake shedding it's skin.

Whilst I sympathise with those who lose their lives/belongings, there should be an element of common sense applied to building towns near to forests in those sorts of countries.

One thing I've never understood, is the caveman who discovered fire... surely he just stumbled across a bush fire, then decided to run back to his village with an ember on a stick and pretend he did all the hard work.

It doesn't offend anybody mate, crack on, but it'll not always get the response you'd imagine when you write the thread.

I hope you and your family never have to deal with that sort of devastation, but one thing worth remembering is Mother Nature does what she wants, when she wants.

There's a massive ****in fire happening down south of my state, got a few mates down there aswell. ****ed up. Doesn't seem like a big thing, until you've been near one or through one. My brother in law is a firey, he see's some **** like.

Completely natural thing bushfires, helps the bush grow. But its the ones that are lit around houses by ****in drop kick 'firebugs' that I can't stand. Flying over WA in choppers and those small ****in planes I see some absolutely massive ones up the Kimberley's, but the ones around Perth are all lit by people being ****in stupid (guy in Roleystone using a grinder near kindling, in the bush, on a ****ing scorcher of a day...), to people intentionally setting them so they can watch the firemen in action, or campers getting pissed and not putting out the fires properly.

No reason to delete the thread mate, put it back up and get people talking. Comm is always saying we should have more threads/posters. Ignore his silly remark above.
