I asked why were they so quite and was told they had 8 patients booked in only 3 turned up not good enough ,no excuse
Although I think we would be lucky to get £1m for Byram I think we would get £10m+ for Cook all day long, just an opinion, I might be miles away, upfront payment will be far less though, figures being brandished around would include all kinds of add ons.
TBH the way he's played this season,1 good game, cant see anyone wanting to pay more than £1 million for Byram anyway big risk.
Don't point that out ffs. The glee club seem intent on ignoring tables, results and performances in their blind adoration...
Byram has been got at head all over the place sell him in Jan we might get a surprise £4M plus Sorry bed now
So I wonder, what difference does it make what these players will be sold for? The proceeds go mainly into Cellinos pockets. Same as when bates was owner. So personally I don't care what they sell for
The NHS should also pay patients everytime they cancel an appointment or having to wait for more than a week for major treatment, the lazy bastards
Mike, it depends where you look to find the Roberts fee. The Guardian & Telegraph both report that it is undisclosed, however they believe it to be £5m up front with £6m in add-ons. The Daily Mail reports it is £2m up front with £6m in add-ons! Sky report that the fee is £12m, but offer no breakdown. I cannot find any other report that supports your figures. Have you got a link to support your estimate? I found my estimates from a simple Google search ... https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=man city sign roberts&oq=man city sign roberts&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8, and just looked at the first page. The numbers I've found seem much closer to my valuation (which I admit was an educated guess), particularly when you consider that Roberts is a striker, which means his fee will usually be higher than that of a midfielder. I think your comment on Bianchi is unfair. Unfit suggests that he had a choice in the matter. He was an ever-present until he got the knee ligament damage that required surgery in February, then 2 games into his pre-season comeback, he got injured & needed another knee op, this time his cartilage. I think he'll be a revelation in our midfield when he returns to the team. Almost as classy as Gary McAllister. I don't think there's a hope in hell of us getting £4m for Byram. He's waited this long, so why not wait a few more months to get the deal he's looking for? It would suit all parties apart from Leeds if he waited until the summer, or signed an intent in January. Only Cellino will be in a rush in January, & Byram only needs to say 'no', just like Cellino has re. his new contract. Then it's down to the formula to calculate his worth, and I'll be surprised if that tops £1m. Most importantly, I hope the treatment went ok. Is it ever going to end? It would drive me daft (OK, Glory, I'll get in there first before you - it would drive me daftER!)
Personally I believe Cook is the only player who is worth any sort of decent fee in the squad at the moment. 10m seems steepish but not completely ridiculous. He is young and has an unbelievable amount of raw talent I think. Under a proper coach he could go pretty far in the game I think, I don't think he'll get that at leeds though. I also think from experience selling players who are important to us for any sort of normal fee is a waste of time. How many players have we sold in the last 5 years or more for half reasonable fees and we still haven't been able to adequately replace any of em.
Good morning Neil I based my valuation on 2 players signed recently Roberts and Marital I know both were forwards .Don't forget top clubs who are swimming in money are reportedly after him as you quite rightly said to me he is the new Paul Scholes and you can't get much better than that! Hehas played many games and represented his country so £10m would be the bottom line it could rise to more Thank you for your concern the op went well I was in bed just after 7 and have slept well even coming up with an idea re hospital Why don't they take a credit card details or debit card and if the patient doesn't turn up charge them £100 similar to hotel bookings Yesterday I spoke to a nurse who was from an agency. She had been brought in because they expected it to be busy instead less than 40% turned up .This matter should be sorted out and at least under my idea the hospital will receive £500 I am about to write my Arthur Daily price list on players valuations let Lonnies dad reply to that! MIKE
You remember yesterday when you falsley accused me of inciting you? Can you explain your last line? If you want to throw a hook you might as well make it one that is understood. i didn't get the reference yesterday either. P.S. Glad the op went well (and yes I do mean it)!
