Spoiler Yeah hopefully Ron gets stricken down with a severe case of Zombies to the torso. His dad was a douchenozzle. I also found the scene between Carol and Sam very curious. The kid won't come down or speak to anyone, yet he seemed quite chatty when Carol came in. There is something in that. That kid is gonna do something.....not sure what yet.... I did think Rick was being a tad petty at ripping down the Priests Prayer flyers. I am as atheist as they come, but to each his own, if people want to comfort themselves with religious bullshit, let em have at it.
Spoiler I guess, that would probably have something to do with it. While I also read into it that Rick is of the mind that praying to a god isn't going to help them survive and that they need to get off their asses and become capable and not rely on a deity. I agree with Rick fundamentally, but tearing down the flyers like a petulant child just seemed so petty. The Priest was a douche, but he is trying to help them the only way he knows how. Maybe I am reading too much into it.
What's Jessica Jones like? A couple of the lads in the office say it's good, but will it just be a massive letdown after Breaking Bad?
Spoiler Or its just Ricks way of saying he doesn't like rr trust him PS...Rick and Hershel had running disagreement about religion too
Pretty good the man in the high castle, so far at least. Not read the book so don't know what's meant to happen.
Spoiler: spoilerboiler I think Ron is gonna take Carl's eye out somehow a la the comics, although it's I think done differently in those. That kid Sam has been set up to do something nasty surely with Carol's parting words to him about killing to survive or something. You can't plant something latent like that in the plot and leave it alone. And the way he's been loitering around upstairs in that house is suggestive as well. So yeah, you're right to be thinking that imo. I can't even remember what Abe did to piss Rick and the others off, I remember when they were holed up in the church and that other group were after them and they had to ambush them, but the details escape me. But yeah, Rick is not the most perceptive or diplomatic guy, he's a bit of a blunt instrument and holds grudges, a good man of action but not very intelligent or aware of wider political and people issues. Once they have to start trying to stabilise society and the fighting dies down I can see him getting frustrated because he'll be back to being Sheriff and being bossed around by superiors again possibly (i.e. more politically savvy, socially bigger thinkers), although he is obviously a powerful figure due to his 'getting **** done' and 'badass' qualities, not that that has worked out with his plan this season.
Spoiler He is pissed at Father Gabriel because he told Deanna that Rick's crew were bad apples and they should be thrown out of Alexandria. Because he witnessed them kill the Hunters (the guys who ate Bob's leg) and was traumatised by it. Never mind the fact that they saved his life. Gabriel was being a complete and utter c**t there to be honest. So I can understand Rick being pissed at him and not wanting him to go beyond the walls or risk Gabe having a weapon. But to be that petulant about a Prayer meeting I just found a little petty is all. If I was Rick i would have attended myself just to see what was going down in the meetings. But Rick has seemed like a second away from capping Gabriel every moment this season too. Carol aswell, when Gabe was being attacked during the Wolves invasion and Morgan wanted to help him and Carol was like "meh, let him go". I think Rick and Carol are completely on the same page now. Ironic seeing as Rick once exiled her from the group for her extreme displays of emotionless pragmatism and methods she used to protect the group (ie killing and burning the sick people at the prison to stop the infection spreading). I think most of the Alexandrians are coming round to Ricks way of thinking, certainly his group has his back (Glenn, Daryl, Maggie, Tara, Michonne, Carol, Rosita, Abraham) and I think Jessie and Deanna are coming round too. The main obstacles now are Ron, Spencer and Morgan. Ron seems to have some sort of vendetta against Carl and Rick, Spencer is just reckless and ****ing stupid, and Morgan's whole "Life is precious" spiel can be nothing other than a danger to everyone imo.
While I don't entirely agree with the sentiment, I did find this very funny! please log in to view this image
Bollox to spoilers, I cant be arsed... I'm sure the Rick campervan predicament will be done in a later flashback episode to waste another episode. Also, dont build watch towers outside your fcking perimeter wall. Lesson fcking learned.
Yeah I don't understand that either. The watch tower wasn't something they built though, it was a pre existing chapel with a tower. However, why did they not opt to build the wall in front of it when building Alexandria? Seems an odd decision to keep such a strategically vital position outside your walls, especially since anyone from the outside would also be able to climb up the tower and survey your whole base!
Yeah...quite dark. Makes you think with all our assumptions of how history went what you would do if the opposite had happened. Live under the regime, embrace it or fight what looks like an impossible battle.....only PK Dick novel I have read is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Bladerunner). Will watch the last 5 episodes tonight to see where the sci fi element develops...
Have watched the first series. Good but the finale feels like it happened before yhe finale. You'll know what I mean when you finish it...
Yep. Also got 5 to watch tonight. I like this from Amazon, the whole series released at once allowing you to watch in your time.
