we googled it and found local people here who do it... no point me giving you the details, unless you fancy a day trip to Northampton.

No matter what the merits of the case, $15M... WTF. $15 maybe for a new clock and the inconvenience at best! World going nuts.

Is that because Ove sounds like oaf? If it is then I am deeply offended and hurt and may have to sue you for the great personal trauma and hurt it has caused. My solicitor will be in touch.

Hahaha, actually no, but you'd need to read the book to find out the real reason.

    Will $15m cover it?

yep... remind the week before. It is sat on my desk here now. It was on the book shelf. After we had the re-wiring done, I boxed most up to keep the bookshelf looking tidier, but kept Robert Harris' collection out as he is one of my favourites. Could post it depending on when you go.

I imagine the Kurds would be quite happy if the Turks would stop bombing them under the pretence of fighting Isis.

I think I've read almost all of his - must go through the list and see if there are any I've missed. Sadly, they're either boxed up in storage or in the garage (getting cold and damp :steam:), but one day (one day!) I'll have them back on my bookshelves ............
Thanks for the offer - I'll let you know when I've found any of his I haven't read! :emoticon-0100-smile

Russian pilot has died. Putin saying the plane was downed 4km away from the Turkish border.

""Today's loss is related with a stab on our back by the accomplices of terrorism. I cannot find another wording for what happened. After crimes like what happened today, we certainly hope the international community will unite against a common evil."

Now accusing Turkey of funding ISIS by buying their oil.

    Oh joy....

I'd just like to suggest to David Cameron that it's all getting a bit crowded over Syria, so maybe we should stay the **** out?

I mean what can possibly go wrong when you have Russians, Turks and the French all fighting mad while Syria burns?

Tidy bookshelves! Whatever next. If you know where everything is then you will never have the joy of unsuspected finds while searching for a particular volume. I can never remember where anything is but have a lovely time searching and uncovering other little gems I had forgotten I had.

Don't pick up The Crossing by Michael Connolly if you are anal like me :) Start from the beginning of the Harry Bosch Novels if you want to read Connolly.
