Is that a question for me? I am willing to accept that they were, like you lot, better than us on the ball but had very little penetration. Final third we were better. Clear cut chances for Defoe and fletcher in the first half and a goal from a mistake by their defence. Are you willing to accept, based on the last 2 performances, that we are better than you? As we have been far better in both games and with a better overall result
Listen Marcus. You can tell us we're ****, you can sing six in a row and you can laugh as you overtake us in the table. But under no circumstances refer to fredor as one of us - he's yours and you can keep him!!!!
Crap mod alert!(me!)! Had no idea mate.. Seems random his post and without much point when taken in context of what it's appeared after
Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of fredor mate! The day you can make sense of his posts is the day you get yourself booked into see the men in white coats! He's harmless really. He's our own little adopted pet mackem lol.
Confused myself fella! I'm useless with remembering names on here of those less regular posters (no offence meant there btw) and, when you posted your comment I thought you were one if them having a dig at me! Turns out you're one of us! Too many post match beers fella!!
Don't worry too much Nev you are not the only one on here that gets confused over facts , if you feel comfortable in your own little make believe world then that is the way to go
Nothing make believe about my world fredor - well apart from when I've had a few. The table never lies and that is how you judge who is better/****ter. No doubt after next weekend you'll be above us and will have all the ammo you need
No offence taken when non intended, I just feel that we in the N.E have a duty of care to our northern neighbours, and should try to help them with their delusions of being superior to Sunderland when a quick check of the records shows that this is not the case, their pathetic attempts to eliminate history to me just reinforces this diagnosis
Get your cash on mackems to stay up lads. I have. A double for us to go down and them to stop up pays hansomely.
Before kick off last night we were 5/1 with Paddy Power to win the game and 1/7 to get relegated - favourites. Villa have been far worse than us all season and they were second favourites. All in all I think we'll both be OK this season and have said that for a while - Sam may not get us playing scintillating football but he's started moving in the right direction by getting the defence sorted first and we still created a few chances! How much does your double pay?
Only time the table matters is after 38 games - prior to that, it doesn't matter what has gone on and who is where - until all clubs have played all other clubs twice, judgement is purely hypothetical - that said - if we do go above you next weekend I'll be chuckling a little!
All we need to do is now get out of the habit of following a confidence boosting win which gives us all a little hope with a self destructive disgustingly horrible performance.
Have a drink mate, you will feel differently in a couple of weeks, believe me I have been there a million times
Not directy related - one may have a bearing on the other but both teams have odds for their respective outcomes (i.e. Sunderland odds of staying up (around 7/2) multiplied by Newcastle odds of going down (around 6/4 gives you the double of 5.25 (21/4) on some places and some may boost the bet to 6 or 7/1 - a bookie will double any bet that isn't the outcome of a two horse race (i.e. Sunderland v Stoke - Doubling up Sunderland winning with Stoke losing)
Decent bet. I think bet both ways (not sure what the odds on the other are). I can only see one of us stopping up at most. Looking up over Norwich are poor, but after that both teams have looked much worse than the rest at various stages.
