Good Morning Everyone, Charlie Horton has left the club and has returned to the States. The USA u23 international has put it down to family reasons. Leeds have paid his contract up til the end of the season. Bailey Peacock-Farrell will be on the bench this weekend. Steve Evans has 72 hours to come up with some loanees before the transfer window shuts. He also faces a dilemna! Should he play half fit players? You may recall after the Blackburn defeat last month Evans said that without any help from the loan market, United might find that avoiding relegation becomes more of a struggle than the club would like. Agree? The 21's lost 2-0 yesterday against Nottingham Forest. Sam Byram played. Jack Skelton got his marching orders ten minutes from time for a second bookable offence.
Morning Elland and all. Don't panic about loan market closing, January is only two months away and then the whole charade can start again. Well b linked with God knows how many unfit hasbeens and players we can't afford. It's the usual story. The only thing that may save us from relegation is the amount of equally crap clubs behind us still. As I've said previously though, relegation and admin may be the way forward and the only way
Good morning fellow sufferers. Looking at the names on our bench "Bailey, Peacock-Farell" our Shaks should get his leeds whinos shirt on. Regarding relegation we are 16th playing crap footie and both Forest and Bolton will finish above us by May. How close is too close for a team of"great prospects" that Cellino promised us would be promoted this season or he would have failed?
Good morning to Matt and co from a dull but not chilly Bardsey I have been thinking about Cook and Bridcutt and have come to the conclusion we will sell Cook for a great deal of money possibly £10 m but I think he his worth at least £13m and replace him with Bridcutt at £1m Forther more Byram will leave for no more than £4m giving a total spend available of £16m at worst I have wondered why we needed Bridcutt then the stories have come in about Cook wanted by all the top clubs. If I was the lad my advice to him would be go to Bournemouth and learn your trade with Howe and get game time as well We need a keeper is Robinson available on a short term deal ? Get rid of Wootton how bad must our back 4 be when he gets into the team.Doukara a lazy sod Bianchi never settled herethese players should be shown the door Strange one about Horton why get rid of your only real understudy keeper and pay him up as well? Never a dull moment like me and Glory
w We can only guess what the atmosphere is like behind the scenes, but it must be difficult for players and coaching staff to get any feeling of togetherness with the turmoil and uncertainty at the top. Its a shambles.
A question for you Mike. If indeed those two are sold for say 16m, how much do you honestly believe would be reinvested in the squad by Cellino?
That my friend is the 64000$ one It will depend on his arrangement with the new buyers remember I think this man is no dummy you negotiate with him knowing he is smart .May not look it and may appear not to act it but he is .So I would say that he has already valued the squad and put these kind of values on these 2 players how much he values Doukara and Wootton I dread to think ! So really it will depend on the new owner as to how much we have to spend, as he already has paid if you like for the 2 lads and MC has walked away with a very tidy profit Hope this answers your question GOOD morning BTW
You are not serious I hope because I really thought you knew a bit about the game you obviously know nowt!
To clear the mid He will have a book valuation of the squad that the new owner is buying and I think that Cook will be £10m=+ and Byram possibly £4m+ Taylor north of £6m Wood £3m Doukara £I yes 1£ along with Wootton so the total could reach about £20m+ you then add on the branding which is worth say £20mless liabilities
That would be assuming he finds a buyer Mike in January before offloading players. Personally, I cant see anyone stepping up with the cash as the club is greatly overvalued. 250m would have bought Aston Villa last season while they were still PL with a pl team and owning their own ground and annual turnover of multiples of ours. Why would a wealthy billionaire want us? I dont see it
Mike have you been on the Christmas sherry too early. 20m for those players ? .Club branding 20m less liabilities ?.. 20m. ...??? The club has well hidden liabilities and one big liability in the present owner which means any due diligence over the club would be a nightmare. As private Fraser said " wur doomed" The FL are playing a waiting game with MC and will pull the plug when the Italian legal system finally ends this farce.
You obviously have not seen Cook play, you have however seen your wallies play, or have you? you are just a wind up armchair fan, and not a very good one at that. Oh and by the way Geez, go **** yourself
