Which is what i said, Mangala is a good yard ahead of Coutinho and to the right of him. I hadn't realised there was another Liverpool player beyond Mangala but it would have made no difference as he was ahead of the pass.
Demichelles and Skrtel aren't much better Kompany and Sakho are the standout two between the two clubs.
Mangala clearance was under intense pressure, the ball must be cleared because there was a Liverpool player behind him. Unfortunately for him the ball went into his net,
NO - this is what you said ''The man was on his own, the ball was past Coutinho (who was too slow to get in the 6 yard box),'' you were wrong on every count Nice try at rescuing though Mangala takes a step back to try and spring the offside trap, fails and in his rush to get back makes a massive forced error.
Jürgen Klopp admits he'll need more time to work on his Scouse phrases after the manager received a lesson from a nine-year-old Liverpool fan in an exclusive Kop Kids interview. While grilling the German inside his Melwood office recently, youngster Isaac offered some sage advice about key sayings to use amid his new surroundings on Merseyside. But when asked about the footage, released today and available to watch below, Klopp joked that he is by no means an expert in the field just yet. “The problem is that I don’t remember important things too good – but ‘boss’ is not a problem! It’s easy to learn,” he said at his pre-Bordeaux press conference. “But the rest… I couldn’t even read it when I saw it. So I need more time, of course, to get better at Scouse and I hope I will have this time!” http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/198737-boss-my-scouse-will-need-some-work
If no LFC player was in he box, would the outcome have been the same? I doubt it... he was "forced" to make a decision of getting something on it because if he had left it, it could have resulted in a goal. I t was **** technique and should have cleared it, but doesn't mean it wasn't forced. Lee Dixon's lob from 40 yards... now that was an unforced OG
Moreno: My secrets to defensive understanding Chris Shaw @shawct Alberto Moreno believes an instinctive understanding with his fellow Liverpool defenders is the foundation for his consistent run of form at left-back. The Spaniard has started eight out of nine games since Jürgen Klopp assumed the reins at Anfield last month and played his part as the Reds have suffered just a single defeat under the new manager. An injury to Mamadou Sakho before the international break forced the boss into a reshuffle at the back, with Dejan Lovren coming in for the eye-catching victory at Manchester City and the win over Bordeaux that secured Europa League progress. But whoever is stationed next to Moreno, he feels there is an intuitive connection – plus a suitably similar grasp of English – to make life as difficult as possible for the opposition. “I think that we understand each other with just a look, and that means it’s not too difficult for us,” the No.18 told Liverpoolfc.com. “What’s more, I can understand their English a lot better than I can a native English speaker. If you see what I mean, it’s more like ‘my’ kind of English! “I say my English… maybe not mine, as it’s very bad! But it’s true that I have a good understanding with them and I enjoy playing just as much alongside either one of them. “As a result, I feel very comfortable when I line up next to either one of them.” Klopp has overseen five wins to date, none more impressive than the 4-1 success at the Etihad Stadium a week ago which was inspired by blistering counter-attacks and pressing from Liverpool. Yet the German was still not wholly satisfied with the display and explained after the final whistle that his side was capable of playing even better. It’s a mentality that is clearly resonating with the squad and certainly Moreno, who insists the boss’ nature is being translated into the team’s performance. He said: “We all knew that Klopp was a great manager, and he had done very well. “But it’s certainly true that he has transmitted a lot of energy in the dressing room and I think we’re now demonstrating that out on the field. “Every player is playing at 200 per cent and we’re all committed. The gaffer is showing his confidence in every player, he has faith in all of us, and I think that’s important that everyone feels they have the manager’s trust. “You only have to see us out on the field, where we’re all giving everything and going all-out to win games.” http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/199034-moreno-my-secrets-to-defensive-understanding
Moreno has defended well this season. I think it's easy to pinpoint this to Klopp but Moreno had impressed under Rodgers when he replaced Gomez.
Had another good game yesterday Moreno (although Ayew worked very hard to prevent him getting forward effectively) Not sure he's going to be given anymore free kicks to take though after that one in the first half Got me a clean sheet and full bonus in the fantasy too

What does everyone think about Gerrard returning? Personally, it shouldn't really impact us but I can't help but feel that his presence will put us under pressure again.
Nah, it's great for him to be back and just training. Does Klopp come across as the type of person who would put up with a disruptive influence?
When Milner was about to take the penalty against Swansea and Klopp was looking away. Gerrard must be thinking I supposed to be taking that. Klopp only gave him opportunity to train with the first team not to be in the team. Fair enoough !.
