Vardy isn't in the same class. He's a 28 yr old average player having an extraordinary run. It'll end and he'll go back to having an average strike rate (at best) at this level.
I'm with Tobes on Vardy. His stats have never been that great, but things are going for him this season. As for Kane, I am still not convinced. He has a good shot on him, but he isn't a poacher. He doesn't have pace, but is quite strong yet not going to boss defenders like a Drogba could. He is a good player, but just typical English average.
Yeah I agree with this, I hope Vardy can prove us wrong but Imagine it won't last. Kane looks quality would love to have him at United, might be a chance if they don't get top 4.
I hope Vardy stays at Leicester primarily. There will be interest in him over winter and again in summer, he deffo will stop scoring if he goes to a 'big club' to sit on the bench. Best thing for him is to stay put at least for this season. If somehow Leicester get CL football then why would he want to go anywhere else. If they get Europa then he should still want to stay and try to do well in the comp he had a large part in earning his team. If they fall away then yeah he can legit consider his options if he's still been playing well and interest is there. Thing is his age is against him and he might be in the now or never mindset as his form and age align. Sick of seeing the 'top teams' poach star players from the others.
Agree with this but at 28yrs old, he won't turn down a big opportunity should one arise. It would be his one and only chance.
Only lost once... And that was only because he was wearing a baseball cap. Klopp had three initial draws but has won most of his games since then.
I can't see Vardy's form lasting the season. I hope it does but I wouldn't put a nugget on it. Kane is a perfect example of modern fans views. If he was called Kaninho, everyone would want him. But because it's a English player he's massively over-rated. I don't think he's the best player in the world, nor do I think he ever will be, but he's a bloody good player that keeps getting goals.
Current prices for TOP4: Manchester City 1/33 Arsenal 1/12 Manchester United 1/7 Tottenham 13/8 Liverpool 17/10 Chelsea 4/1 Leicester 11/1
the PL is great for excitement and unpredictability but the best teams have never been further away from Europe's true elite. It's 1/4 for there to be no English semi finalist: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/total-english-semi-finalists Telling price, that!!
Gonna go out on a limb with Vardy and predict what will happen. He will have a great season, move to Liverpool for £28 million in the summer where he will be bang average at best and score 9 goals in 29 games in his first season at liverpool, then after an injury ravaged second season scoring 4 goals in 18 games he will then get sold to Stoke or West Brom for £14 million.
