I googled about mousa Dembele and what other have said and I came across this article. It's interesting when other professionals say what we see http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/09/totte...nd-kevin-de-bruyne-says-wesley-sonck-5431467/ Dembele doesn't even look that big but I've never seen anyone knock him off the ball.
Dembele's turnaround is a mental one. He has stopped shying away from tackles. Perhaps one or more of the coaches had a word in his ear. Also Danny Rose winning so much in the air, perhaps Zebedie had a word in his ear.......time for bed.
...plus Lamela is playing like a decent footballer... plus Alli has slotted straight into the team... plus Dier looks like he's been playing midfield his whole life... plus Walker's playing better than he has done for years... plus Vertonghen's playing like a top class defender for the first time for Spurs... perhaps we just have a very, very good coach, who has the ability to get the talent out of players that other coaches can't. Tbh, it makes me wonder what he could have done with Soldado given time.
To the tune of "everywhere we goooo, everywhere we goooo, it's the Tottenham Boys making all the noise...." Replace with "you're ****ing sheeeet, you're ****ing sheeeet, you're ****ing ****, you're ****ing ****, you're ****ing ****". . Our fans yesterday.
Had to chuck my first sicky of the year yesterday, my God was I hanging from Sunday night... But what a beautiful Sunday it was! This isn't the first time where I've said the whole team were just brilliant, it was similar against Arsenal and it was similar against City among other games too, we just look such a great team at the moment and I can't emphasise the word team enough. Even Paul Merson made a positive remark towards us, he said that over the past 4-5 years or so we've been a one man team and it'd be hard to disagree with that, from Modric to Bale to Kane last season, it did seem that one person was needing to carry us in times of difficulty, which isn't necessarily bad as many teams have that one stand out performer but with this side under Poch, if one, two or three under perform, there are six, seven or eight who make up for it and it's fantastic to see, it makes me as a fan feel so proud to support this side, you get the sense they'd bleed for the badge and their team mates/ manager. Before the game I stuck on a bet in the ground of Spurs 3-1 with Toby first scorer, I was confident we'd beat West Ham despite their good away form (although the cider probably boosted by confidence ). I don't really need to speak into much detail on the game as I could write a paragraph on every player's performance on how they bossed it, the back five were great, the midfield were even better and Kane does what Kane does best, if one had to be singled out, I'd say it was Dembele as yet again he was just superb but then so were the 10 other starters. The only criticism you could have on Sunday's result was that 4-1 immensely flattered West Ham as we should've had 6 or 7. Being able to sing "you're ****ing ****" and "na-na-na-naaaaa you're ****" to the tune of Hey Jude for about 20-25 minutes was hugely satisfying I must say . After the game was just a blur, I have no idea how much I drank or how I even got home and I only live a 15 min walk away from the Lane but I woke up feeling like **** on the sofa with a doner wrap and it's chilli sauce half spilled on the carpet so I'm presuming I enjoyed myself!
Nice to see you enjoyed yourself SOS. Me, i've been on leave, i was returning to work a couple of days early but that got cancelled after a night in Amsterdam with the Ajax crew (they love Tottenham) and then the Wet Spam match. Everyone here (africa) says why do you drink 4 litres of wine in a night? I reply it's a matter of belief. When they ask me who is my god i reply Tottenham.
4 litres of wine a night? You're very religious . I wouldn't be waking up the following morning if I drank that, wine gets me hammered, it's why I stick to cider, not that I can handle that much better either judging by Sunday night!
Paul Merson's prediction when Arsenal played us at the Emirates. "Arsenal legend Paul Merson has backed his former team to win this weekend's hotly anticipated North London derby against Tottenham quite comfortably, despite the fact they were humiliated in the Champions League just a few days ago." http://www.90min.com/posts/2704531-...l-to-beat-tottenham-3-0-in-north-london-derby
we have always been sad for every dipstick connected to arsenal.even the woolwich ferry breaks down whenever it hears that name1
