It was blocked around 8 yards from where the shot was taken. And I sit in line with it and it was definitely on target. No doubt about it when Colback saved it with both hands! 100% on target and not blocked "half a yard" away.
I can't comment on individual events that I haven't seen more than once. I can only give the facts and confirm that a shot on target blocked by a defender, is counted as a shot on target. Hence, a goalkeeper's save statistics aren't always the same as the opposition's shots on target???
But sky have a "blocked shots" stat. So how does that work out in your little stat count? I suppose it depends on who does the stats.
He's a great treatment if you cant sleep. Read some of his posts and you are guaranteed to drop. He's like that duracell bunny. Keeps going on. And on. And ****ing on.
Embarrassing for me there. My point still stands to an extent though, as Marcus said it just depends who is taking the stats, they all have a different method http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/statkeepers-call-the-shots-but-they-cant-agree-on-them/
It's only cos he takes it the right way. You two have had some barneys over the years but I've always thought he was sound 'cos he can take as good as he gives.
