Following on from the addictions thread. Any coffee connoisseurs out there ? I have a Nespresso machine which uses the little pods of coffee and it is the best coffee I've ever had, I cant remember its name but its the purple coffee pods I prefer. Anyone else ?
Isnt the best coffee the one thats come out of the arse of some aminal Kopi luwak is the world’s most expensive coffee. The main factor of it’s high price is the uncommon method of producing such a coffee. It has been produced from the coffee beans whichhave been digested by a certain Indonesian cat-like animal called then palm civet or also civet cat. This is the reason kopi luwak is also called cat poop coffee or civet cat coffee. The feces of this cat will be collected, finished and sold as kopi luwak. On this website you will find all relevant information about the production process, the cat, certified kopi luwak producers, the kopi luwak coffee itself and it’s unique properties and taste. The short supply, in comparison with the high demand, the different taste and the uncommon production methods define the value of kopi luwak – the most expensive coffee in the world. Drink a **** load of coffee. The way England does coffee is a ****ing disgrace. London has started catching up but elsewhere we're really lacking. Blue Sumatra is my favourite type of coffee, absolutely amazing. Nespresso coffee is alright but they succeed because of their branding and user experience, not their coffee. And Kopi Luwak isn't the world's most expensive coffee. Black Ivory is. It's made of beans from Elephant droppings.
We have Nespresso machines in our office, even the Decaf one I can't stand, I'm not a fan of the Italian type coffees, where you get a thymbol full of coffee with the strength of a suped up gram of speed in it. I have to drink Decaf nowadays, so pointless going for Espressos, I normally just have a latte and because cows milk is full of **** I go for Soya Latte. Costa wipes the floor with Starbucks and Nero for me.
Love a cup of tea. But also like me coffee Tasimo Fresh perculated Greek coffee mmmmmm Spanish with brandy
All are pretty **** mate... I'm by no means a non corporate, stick it to the man indie type but independent coffee places have proper barista's.
Couldn't possibly ever take coffee that seriously mate, 9/10 of my coffees through the week come from a jar.
I'm currently onto about my 5th cup of coffee for the day. Coffee in the bottom first, milk in second - stir thoroughly, hot water on top. Makes me piss like a racehorse though so I spend more time in the bog than in the office
One of my favourite coffee drinks atm is a nespresso mixed with frothy milky hot chocolate and a splash of hazelnut syrup, delicious.
