Klopp likes a dirty destroyer in his midfield, why take Lucas out? You just don't like him, he's been brilliant this season.

    +1....
Klopp, he ain't got a clue, continuing to pick the likes of Milner and Lucas... Bring back Rodgers, at least he wanted to sell Lucas!

We are very lucky Rdgers did not shipped out Lucas before he left. Lucas is another player now, also
    Adam Lallana<ok>

Lucas has been good this season. But Can has been better.

Nothing to do with liking Lucas or not. Klopp prefers a 2 man midfield. Someone will be dropped to accommodate Henderson.

    Valid question IMO.

I won't be Lucas... of the two most likely to be dropped for Hendo, its either Can or Milner...
And once Studge is "ready" can see Lalinho be dropped...

  10. Good problems to have. I expect Can and Lucas to stay in the side. No way Firmino or Coutinho are being dropped atm either. That leaves Milner or Lallana, got to be Milner hasn't it? Hendo can play on the right.

Quite curious as to why people think Can is the one to be dropped and not Lucas.

Does everyone think Lucas has been better than Can?

  12. Yes! No one is forcing him to play Milner on the right or not play Allen.

Can has struggled now and then but is certainly improving, Lucas has been brilliant and better than Can easily.

  15. Do you seriously see Milner as part of a front four? I don't. He's starting on the left but he's providing balance and allowing the front three to do their thing. the way we're actually playing, its more like a 433 imo

Hendo will have to play his way into the team, no way he walks in when fit.

Personally, Lucas's performance have improved because of Can. Can is the one doing most of the running and covering for Lucas. Lucas now has less space to cover.

No I don't - he's on the right in a midfield 3. But it's going back to how Klopp sees this team - a midfield 2 is most likely.

But Hendo has played as an advanced right midfielder before and he can put in some great balls plus he'll be very effective in the high press ...

    Can/Lucas as the 2..
Ford, Firmino, Hendo as the 3.. Ford and Firmino give more freedom to move around behind the main striker.. Hendo to play a more disciplined role, will drop back and cover Clyne when he bombs forward...
Striker of Studge but wouldn't rule out Bentekkers being favoured in that role by Klopp for certain games!
Wouldn't abandon the false-9 formation, now we have someone like Firmino that can play it... would use that in certain games...

Possibly but I'd just say that the formation and combination of the 2 of them just works. One breaks up play and generally stays deep the other is more expansive and joins the attack more often. No need to fix anything and Hendo is on the bench unless one of the 2 isn't playing well or he plays in another position.
